10.01.2022 Well today was a huge day! Not only did we have a full day of tinting booked in but today was our first ever day of vinyl wrapping. Why vinyl wrap your car? It's cheaper than a paint job, can change the way your car looks (as subtly or drastically as you like)... and it's not permanent! 08.01.2022 Ready for that exciting news? Mid North Auto Glass has a new home! We are especially thankful to see how far we have travelled in the last year. Like everyone, the pandemic has affected our small family business, so it is incredibly moving to see the support we are still getting from both our regular clients and new alike. Thank you so much! What has started off as a nearly exclusively mobile service has now grown large enough for us to move into our own premises on Mill Street, Clare. As always we are committed to providing an excellent local service and supporting other local small businesses. We are currently busy doing maintenance and cleaning work on our new shed. 06.01.2022 Some of you may have recently seen a For Sale sign go up at our premises in Mill Street, Clare. Unfortunately the owner of the property has decided to sell and so our lease may soon end. But Mid North Auto Glass is here to stay and the business will remain local. It is our hope to be able to build our own workshop later in the year. For now, we will either remain at our current location if our lease is renewed, move to another local rental, or temporarily operate as a mobile only service. 06.01.2022 Hi everyone. Sorry we haven't posted in a while! We have had a very busy month in June leading up to the end of the financial year but we are still in full swing here at Mid North Auto Glass! This week included an interesting job - installing a new front windscreen on a loader 84ks north of Clare! Did you know that our windscreen service is fully mobile and includes FREE TRAVEL within 100kms of Clare, and only a small surcharge for further distances? 05.01.2022 A sneaky peek on the job! How do we tint a concave surface like a rear window? To beat those pesky curves, tint used to be applied in multiple strips. But now with the use of a heatgun we can heat a single piece of tint, shrinking the excess and pushing it to the edge as we go meaning no ugly joins! Check it out below! 03.01.2022 With the end of the year rapidly approaching, my wife and I are taking some much needed time off. We will be gone from the 19th November until the 19th December touring Tasmania, so we will not be booking cars in during this period.
