13.01.2022 The Board of the Mid South Eastern Football League along with it's nine member clubs extend their heartfelt condolences to the Walker, Skeer, Bromley and Verbena families on the tragic loss of Ned and Nan Walker and their daughter Sue Skeer. Our Walker Medal for the A Grade best and fairest runner-up was first awarded in 1978 and is in memory of Ned's father Rex with Ned and Nan awarding the medal at our presentation nights. In recent years their son Wayne has made the prese...ntation, but Ned and Nan would always make time to attend. The extended Walker Family have been staunch supporters of the Mid South Eastern Football League for many years and we are all going to miss Ned's charismatic, easy going nature. He loved a beer, called a spade a spade and you definitely knew where you stood on any matter of topics, and if you didn't he would tell you. Words can't wipe away your tears Hugs won't ease your pain But hold on to your memories Forever they'll remain
