21.01.2022 Midweek Masters- Event #6 Wrap Thanks to Kingston Heath Golf Club for another fantastic Midweek Masters event. A bucket list experience for many of our 55 players was looking like being dampened with a forecast of wind and rain. Luckily we only had the wind and the rain stayed away.... The course was in great condition and although the greens were slower than normal scoring on the challenging layout was made tougher with the strong wind. Only three golfers managed to beat their handicap with our winner Ken Curran having a very solid 40pts. Congratulations Ken!! Thanks to everyone who came and enjoyed the day. Though once it cleared conditions were perfect and the course even better.... Soon to be hosting the World Cup of golf, the layout proved a test for all players. Only one player beating their handicap. Thanks to everyone who came and enjoyed the day. Congratulations to the winner of the day Greg Buckingham with a great score of 38pts!
