24.01.2022 On behalf of Mid -Western Speedway Darlington we would like to wish Ash Sinclair all the best in the running of the Victorian Title this weekend at Laang. We hope you have fun but above all stay safe .

20.01.2022 We as the committee of Mid-Western Speedway Darlington are very saddened to have to tell you our May 9th meeting has to be postponed . Due to being still in locked down by Government instructions . There will be an update about our May 23rd race meeting after the 11th of May Government announcement.

18.01.2022 Whilst the committee had a meeting on Sunday it was decided that if we are able to we will try to run these two race meetings but off cause it is pending on Government instructions . We will be keeping a good eye on it . Saturday May 9th . Which will be go Gray For May . Which will hold .... Hanno -Street stocks . Col Grist Memorial-Super Rods. Bob Ross Memorial-SSA Juniors. Limited Sportsman’s. Sports Sedans . Saturday May 23rd Super Rods . Limited Sportsman. Vintage Hot Rods. Sports Sedans . Remember: Both race meetings wIll be subject to change under Government recommendations. We as the committee will be keeping a good eye on it .

18.01.2022 Hi Lady’s and Gents with our race meeting coming up on the Saturday 28th of March the committee would like to know if anybody would like/ love to come on down and lend a hand .Racing will be starting at 4pm . 17.01.2022 Okay lady’s and gents due to the virus and not much rules changes to go with it unfortunately we have to cancel May 24th race meeting . We are hoping next season is a better year for us all and will be hoping to see you at the track .

16.01.2022 Just to inform people of what is happening with our next race meeting. On Sunday the 22nd of March the committee will be holding a meeting to decided on what to do . After that decision has been made we will inform all classes that were intended to come as well as drivers whom have already nominated . After that we will post it to this page. I’m sorry it’s taken so long for this to happen.

The venue for the meeting will be advised closer to date when we know more info around Covid regulations. The AGM will be held followed by a quick General Meeting.... The AGM will start at 1pm. Memberships forms are available through Norm Fisher or will be available on the day along with payment , or you may email [email protected]

13.01.2022 Ok Lady’s and Gents we are going to hold a working bee at the track this Sunday 20th starting at 10:30 . In hope to get a couple of practises in before our race meeting begin . We would appreciate as many helping hands as possible please . We will be following Covid rules.

As many would now he has dedicated many years of support, help and care for our club . He will be sadly missed by us all . May he REST IN PEACE We send condolences to his family . .

09.01.2022 Announcement The Committee of Mortlake Car Club , Mid WesternSpeedway Darlington wishes to advise, that subject to the Australian Government announcement directly related to Public Events and the COVID-19 (Coronavirus), that the Race Meeting as scheduled for Saturday March 28th 2020 will be cancelled. Also our Meeting scheduled for April the 18th 2020 is postpone for now pending Government decisions .... This decision has not been made lightly but we need to put our community, volunteers and members first. We thank everyone for their support and cooperation.
