The yellow alert zone for the fires in utakarra has been extended out to Gtn - Mt Magnet Road and Edward Road and we know within that area and to the east resides quite a few horses. We are firm believers in its better to be prepared and not need then be unprepared and need! We havent personally seen these fires but the wind is picking up and all sorts can happen. So if it comes to it which is probably unlikely but to be kept in mind for those who dont have ...the means to relocate horses etc. We are able to come and help we only have our 2 horse angle so can only move 2 at a time but if anyone needs the assistance just give us a ring on the shop phone and we will be there! Please take fires seriously and be prepared! 22.01.2022 Expressions of Interest 6 Tested Oaten Rolls from down South. We are able to get a truck load up but it will only go ahead if we can get enough interest.... Payment will need to be made upfront on ordering once all confirmed. Price per roll will depend on the confirmed freight but they will be a max of $230/240 which is approx 38/40c per kilo, which could possibly be less depending on freight, but only if we can fill the truck, we are only organising and providing somewhere to pick up with possible delivery so this is ONLY COVERING COSTS. Pick up will be preferred but possible delivery for a fee in the Geraldton area could possibly be arranged.

13.01.2022 Gday everyone, Great news over the past few weeks we have been unable to supply square bales of hay, this is due to the lack of rain around the place this year farmers are only yielding around the hay of what they got last year. Hay this year will be a lot harder to obtain and towards the end of the season it will be increasingly difficult to get top quality produce. We have been able to get our stocks replenished with hay of the quality we are happy to sell and it is available again for pickup/delivery. 02.01.2022 COVID-19 Update: Attention to all of our very special customers! The Corona Virus is certainly rearing its ugly head and threatening to get pretty serious around WA. In light of this we are going to make just a few short term changes to the shop, until it starts clearing up, which fingers crossed is in the very near future ... Firstly we are striving to make sure that all your fur babies dont feel the impact of all to come! And each and every one of our customers can stay as safe as possible during this time. This is a bit of a long winded post, so please be patient, we are just wanting to inform and do the best we can for our customers! We are going to focus on channelling ALL feed as a delivery service and not so much on the shop front as best we can, we believe we can protect our valued customers and ourselves best conducting this way forward for the short term. We are expecting our already busy delivery service to become flat out so please, we are asking that you can organise and put through your orders 3 days in advance or as early and as much in advance as possible, this will give us the time to plan our deliveries the most efficient way we can to minimise exposure to the public. Orders can be made via Phone Call, Text, Email and Facebook Messenger. We deliver to most areas within Geraldton regularly throughout the week, so if your in need of just a couple of bags, get in touch with us and we can most definitely organise that! We understand this is sometimes hard to get your mind around and we are happy to help. If we can achieve this we will be waiving the minimum bag delivery requirememt of 4 bags as we should be able to schedule everything together, but we will keep you all updated on this. The more time your able to give us the better, we have tried to accommodate deliveries on Sundays and Mondays where we can out side of business hours but we will be trying to limit deliveries to Tuesday through to Saturday reducing exposure in every way we can. As some of our delivery customers who are around when we are doing our rounds know, we do love to stay and have a chat where we can, but due to demand and also wanting to keep our customers and ourselves as safe as possible we will be having to limit this, but feel free to give us a call anytime for a catch up Thank you everyone so much for your understanding and patience, we will continue to do everything we can to work towards the safest most convenient experience we can provide. We have been way to busy to post too much on here and have been very quiet, which could have a lot to do with the amount of push ups we have been belting out on a daily for the Push Up Challenge that both Glenn and Carly have signed up for as the Midwest Stockfeeds team! Glenn & Carly are pushing for better this year together to raise awareness for mental health, and funds for Headspace Geraldton.... Over the course of 21-days we have 3,046 push-ups in total to complete, representing the number of lives lost in Australia to suicide in 2018. Each day the number of push ups required represents a different statistic to do with Mental Health in Australia.
