22.01.2022 [ i need your help ] As we all know it is the month of November also known as Movember which is Mens Mental Health Month. I am putting this video out there beca...use I am trying to raise awareness and funds to go towards an Organisation that I have teamed up with called A Chance for Change ACFC who work very hard to combat the Black Dog which is the darkest form of Mens Mental Health. So on Sunday 25th November I am going to try and cut hair for 24 hours and the funds raised and donated will go to ACFC, to help with the fight. Many are using this time to upskill or implement specific programs for their teams to stay connected and motivated so that their salons are well prepared for the expected hairdressing boom on the other side of COVID-19. Today we've invited three AHC members to chat today about what they are doing in the education and training landscape and how they are adapting their businesses accordingly - Sharlene Lee who owns two Circles of Hair salons in Perth and employs 10 apprentices, Liz Maher of Taylorweir International School of Hairdressing also in Perth and Anthony Gray of MIG Training, a private RTO in Brisbane.

The name of our campaign is CHARLIES ANGELS. The Charlies Angels fundraising month will be March 2019. We would love for all our salon members, in fact, ALL salons around the country, to ask their clients for a $2 gold coin donation for every service visit during the month of March. Its not a huge ask, and with the volume of clients that visit our salons every day, we believe its a great way to achieve significant numbers for this cause. Now we all know that hairdressers love to play dress up we have years of pyjama day evidence! But in 2019 we thought wed change it up a bit.
