25.01.2022 Great news today with long time Mighty River Run sponsors Nippy's and Yamaha Pitmans Marine throwing their support behind the #MRR2021. Embarking on their 15th year as a sponsor, Nippy's are as synonymous with the Mighty River Run as JR, Russ and Snowy and it wouldn't be a Mighty River Run without their juices , water and flavoured milks keeping our boaties hydrated. The Mighty River Run would be stuck on high ground if it wasn't for the generous support of Yamaha Pi...tmans Marine who kindly donate the all-important officials boats and the boat for our all female crew - Just Us Girls - to cruise the mighty Murray in. We thank Nippy's and Yamaha Pitmans Marine for the sharing the ride with us again this year, as together we make a positive difference to the lives of people living with disability and their families .

23.01.2022 A big thank you to our #MRR2020 auctioneer extraordinaire Sam Doman whose auctioneering brilliance helped raise $18,700 at our auction nights on the run. Awesome job Sam!

22.01.2022 Two more of our great MRR sponsors... JAS Oceania and LV Automotive. Thanks for supporting kids, young people and adults living with disability.

21.01.2022 Congratulations to the Paw Patrol team for winning ‘The Unsinkables’ award for #MRR2020. Presented to the boys at the final night dinner, the award recognises the true spirit of the Mighty River Run. Well done boys!

16.01.2022 Today’s lunch stop at the beautiful Aruma River Resort, near Walker Flat. And thanks to the team from Salt & Pepper catering for the great food!

16.01.2022 As if we needed any reason to give a shout out to one of our Mighty River Run Sponsors, but if we did, this reason is as good as any - it’s World Radio Day . We couldn’t let today pass without a mention of our fabulous Mighty River Run Sponsors , the Riverland’s very own Magic 931 and 5RM who have been great supporters of the event for many years . Whether it’s pre-promoting the Mighty River Run and Novita in the lead up to the event, or providing plenty of on-air tim...e for our participants during the run, we are grateful for their continued support in helping us to ensure we can continue to deliver life changing services to thousands of Novita families . We couldn’t do what we without the ongoing support of our dedicated Mighty River Run sponsors thank you

15.01.2022 Another great win today for #MRR2021 with Pacific Marine committing to November's run. Thanks to the generosity of Tim Hearse, who provides the boats for the river captain's and our mechanics, we look forward to Pacific Marine's involvement with this year's event. I'm sure Novita's President Rear Admiral, The Hon Kevin Scarce, AC CSC RAN (Rtd) will be glad that Tim is back for 2021. Tim did get quite cuddly when receiving his Legendary Boatie Award on last year's run.... I think the image on the banner behind them says it all!

14.01.2022 Tim Pexton from MRR crew Team Senator - and dad of Novita kid Chloe - explains why this event is so important to him.

11.01.2022 Current fundraising total for the 2020 Mighty River Run... $302,525! What a marvellous effort! A huge thank you to our crews, sponsors, supporters, volunteers, and everyone who has made a donation.

09.01.2022 When sun is out and the weather is warm our river runners know the perfect remedy to keep cool . Lock wars!! Good times had on the #MRR2020!

03.01.2022 One of the highlights of the of the Mighty River Run is getting to know all of the new crews that take to the water each year and we are super excited to be welcoming them all back again for #MRR2021. One of the teams that joined the Mighty River Run for the first time in 2020 was the North South Grumpys team skippered by Greg Stevenson and included crew members Roger Girdham and Mark Kean, who both had previously taken part in the run, and Gregg’s father John, who flew over ...from Kangaroo Island just to take part. 2020 was my first Mighty River Run and it was a fantastic event. Two of my crew members had previously taken part in the run and suggested I get involved. I was really happy that I entered my boat last year because we had a great time on the river with all the other crews, whilst raising money for such a worthy cause Gregg explains. During the run Gregg loved meeting the other crew members and hearing some of their stories about the connections to Novita so much that he is has already signed up for #MRR2021. I liked the event that much that I’m entering two boats in 2021. Funds raised by the Mighty River Run crews will enable the continual investment in life changing equipment at Novita’s therapy hubs which will help to ensure Novita can provide improved services to more people living with disability in the community, when and where they need it most. We couldn’t do what we do without the support of crews like the North South Grumpys and all of the participating teams thank you you are all an inspiration. If you would like to get involved in #MRR2021 and join some amazing teams like the North South Grumpys, visit the website https://mighty-river-run-2020.raisely.com to find out the event details.

02.01.2022 Make sure you get in quick when registrations open to secure your place in next year's Mighty River Run . Plenty of teams from this year's event will be back for the 15th running of the boating adventure that is changing the lives of people living with disability . We can't wait to have you 'on-board' next year !
