20.01.2022 I was asked to send a photo of my children and me together. It's quite difficult. Usually I just take photos of the children while they're in play, sleeping, having a meal or just other candid and spontaneous ways. Good thing my husband was around to take a photo of me and my children. The children in the photos are representatives of all my children, past and present. It's not an easy work being an early childhood educator. I am amazed with all the educators I've met that ha...ve been doing this for more than 10. Some even 30. I am still just an apprentice in this line of work, as would be my 8th year in my early childhood career. Being an educator is a big challenge but a very rewarding role. Everyday you learn from the children not them learning from you. Every child come to my service had different and unique in every way, thats makes more exciting and fun to learn. Everyday you will see different milestones with them and I am happy to be part and witnessing them. I am so lucky to have a supporting family and of course my extended FDC families past and present. 07.01.2022 I am a catholic, and as part of our family culture (beliefs), having our Fatima (Mama Mary) to come and visit us is part of it. We welcome her and she will stay in my service for two weeks. Being a catholic is not hindrance for being an educator, and I am so lucky that my FDC families accept and respect my beliefs.
