22.01.2022 It's been a mix of emotions in the studio this week...we have commemorated some of the happiest moments and also some of the hardest. We are blessed enough to hear from many of you why you are purchasing your piece and it is always an honour to create them all.

22.01.2022 Monday, Monday today was a day for packaging! Teacher's Gifts, Fundraiser Earrings and orders we are actually in the process of changing our packaging and I did a count of what I have left of the current style and realistically it will be a few months til we fully transition to the new. I like to buy in bulk clearly . It will still be eco friendly and contain all the goodies but in a different way.

12.01.2022 We have just 2 cremation pendants left...these 2 to be exact! We aren't sure about returning these to our collection...what do you think? They can hold ashes, hair, petals, sand or other small pieces that are special to you. In memory of a loved one or furry friend.

10.01.2022 Just over a month til our final workshops for 2020! We only have a few tickets left for our Personalised Necklace Workshop and this one I am so excited about! What will we be doing in this class? - Design - Hand stamping... - Soldering - Finishing and polishing While we wait for our pendants to be cleaned we get to enjoy a cuppa and snack together (which I provide). 09.01.2022 Just 6 days left...any orders placed after 5pm on the 16/6 won't be made til we return in July. Yes it's a very busy time here...throw sick kids into the mix and of course all those unplanned things that get added to the mix. Luckily we have our studio running perfectly (thanks to nearly 10 years in business!) so it doesn't feel like we are frazzled or struggling we just trust our processes and it all works out (insert sigh of relief here ).

09.01.2022 { INSTAGRAM IS DOWN } My only hope is that those on Instagram will hop over to Facebook to see this message.... Instagram is down and i don't know when I will have access again. It all started with a glitch that over the last week would delete any message as soon as i hit reply. Some days were better than others. Now i have no access. We haven't been hacked but i need a pin and instagram need to SMS me it and no SMS will come through. ... We always ask that you email us over using the DM feature (it is just easier and you will get a quicker response) but now in particular we won't be able to use Instagram until this is sorted. There are many messages that have been lost, possibly many unhappy clients that want to order and think I'm not replying... I am trying but there is nothing i can do :( Hopefully the glitch is resolved soon and hopefully those who haven't heard have clicked onto our link and gone online to look at their design or for the contact page. It is in the hands of instagram while they look into the issues, i have no timeline on a resolution. Sarah x

09.01.2022 Cold Cot Donated Yesterday was emotional, it hasn't really sunk in. We travelled 4 hours to deliver the cot and had a lovely time with staff from ancillary services and the hospital. The cot is available to be sent to bereaved parents in Charleville, St George and surrounding areas if needed. We just want to thank every one of you who donated, bought a special piece that supported the cause and also just anyone who supported Mikah because $2 went straight to our fundrais...ing. For everyone who shared it that was a huge support too! @memoriesofanangel your generosity still brings a tear to my eye and because of your $1000 donation we reached the amount needed to purchase the cot. We are very emotional, honoured to do it in memory of our children and in support of others who may walk the same journey as us. Honoured to do this in memory of every child that has passed, no matter what gestation, during childbirth or in the days following. It was all in love and your support shows that so thank you everyone Sarah and Michael xx See more

One of the best parts about sending your jewellery is that so many of you get in touch with your kind words or leave us a review. It's blows us away everytime that you take the time! You aren't a number to us and i think it shows you value us too best feeling ever xx

06.01.2022 October is International Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month, with the 15th being the Wave of Light where we all light a candle at 7pm on memory of all children that gave passed during pregnancy, at any gestation, or during/after birth. We hope you will light a candle with us on the 15th Sarah and Michael xx

06.01.2022 How was your week? Ours was HUGE and we are looking forward to some R&R on the weekend. Although that involves cleaning, mowing (good problem to have as rain has been scarce here!) and chores galore. A few exciting new designs will be available next week wait til you see them!

06.01.2022 Spring is well and truly arrived in my home town of #toowoomba in Queensland and it gives me such a buzz this type of weather and how bright the days are. In my sleepless nights I have been dreaming up new designs, and while I know time won't permit me to make them now, I have them sketched and ready to go from concept to a beautiful piece. While time seems to be speeding away from me I am always trying to stop and take in the little moments...what little moments did you enjoy today?

05.01.2022 Naughty us! Neglecting our posts this week but we have been very distracted this week. We are currently in Roma ready to deliver the Cold Cot in the morning and having that on our mind all week has meant we have lost our way a bit with things other than creating. We have never been to this part of Queensland and unfortunately it is such a short trip we are missing a few destinations we would of like to seen. So far we love the relaxed atmosphere and the amount of bottle trees (one of our fave trees). We will have more photos tomorrow emotional opening the cot up so we are saving all of that for tomorrow.

01.01.2022 My chance to break free! Now I love what I do, don't get me wrong, but I constantly have to be 'perfect'. Mirror finishes, text spot on (even though I'm no machine and each letter is done by hand with no template or guide). The pressure of perfection can sometimes play havoc with my mental health. Every piece I create does hold an element of stress, not because i am not confident in what I do but because I care so much and anxiety creeps in and feeds on my perfectionist tende...ncies. The stress of whether you will be happy with your piece, if I met your expectations, if you will be happy with working with us.... When do I come into this picture? Rarely do I consider how my work impacts on me. So I have committed to doing more for me. More one off designs that are made purely with joy and no stress. No room for anxiety and better for my mental health. This piece is me breaking free. Textured. Organic shapes. Oxidised. No mirror finish. Completely what my soul needs. Will I no longer create personalised jewellery? No way! I will create it for the foreseeable future BUT promising myself that I will dedicate more time to designs that don't feed my perfectionism and are fun - finding the balance. See more
