25.01.2022 Can never be sure when exposure starts. This news release for Rocky just now From flights 9 days ago.

25.01.2022 Must be my age ? Dont need any but no baked beans or sketty on shelves. Spam yes, Tuna and Fish yes. Is it just me?

23.01.2022 The signs are up the flyers are done ! How good is it there are no candidates at polling booths to hassle voters today. Job well done by my helpers..so they can now have a relaxing day. Thank you everyone !

19.01.2022 Should we regulate travel between the regions more in Queensland to better protect from COVID-19 ? The State borders now have restrictions like QLD to NSW. I think it would be timely to regulate travel from the entire south east corner to the outer regions here in Qld sooner rather than later. Do it now ? I think we should.

01.12.2021 Insisting on checking if your in doubt is best !

23.11.2021 I'm sure a rates or electricity account with drivers license could be a simple confirmation for country folk to do limited visits to populated shops. A increase in item numbers for them is a no brainer. Woolies and Coles please consider !! Councilors like Glenda are what we need.

16.11.2021 Who said "MILK" ... ... " I heard her first "..

02.11.2021 I would err on the safer side and help each other keep more distance in what we need to do each day. The outlook is appearing more serious by the day and we can travel by car train n plane carrying something we may not show symptoms of yet be a spreader for weeks in the meantime. Caution be best !

23.10.2021 Due to Covid 19, and mindful to ensure your family's health and my family's health. And the Minsters directive again this morning. I am happy to answer questions or concerns over the phone or email.

11.10.2021 Vist to Stanage Bay, talked to locals and visitors on there concerns and thee love of this beautiful place.

25.09.2021 7. How will you promote and support equal access and inclusion for all ability across the shire? Clearer and noticeable Information signage for all ability access on roads leading in and through the Shire with where to directly and easily find facilities and clear information especially for people not so social media savvy. Better feedback and more regular interactions with spinal / disabled / elderly organisations locally and act on issues and access raised in a timely man...ner. Better management of disabled parking and parking areas for the elderly from misuse. Some need reviewing towards more than just the Australian Standard for those who need more room to park and move safely. 8. What are your thoughts on changes to planning strategies to include wildlife habitat corridors for new developments? Education ! - Wildlife and development can coexist its not new and proper fencing in some areas will need to be done. Corridors and preservation areas near homes will always be challenged by people and domestic pets so well maintained clearances to buildings and pets is important. More frequent information signs at these corridors will promote more visitor and resident interest. Establish more pet friendly park enclosures and clearly send information to registered pet owners on updates for them and permitted open areas away from wildlife corridors Fauna like the Koala overlay to the Town Plan should be advised to township and rural ratepayers.
