25.01.2022 Thanks Belinda for helping the other day and again today. We don’t have the party machines pumping money our way to get who they want elected for the reasons they want people elected. We have people helping as they want a better community, not puppets on a string. Mike Rennie for Division 5 Berrinba Crestmead Marsden Waterford West - Logan we deserve better that what we have had!

20.01.2022 It has been an honour to be able to put myself forward as an alternative for 5 Those that know me, know I have no interest in the political games that get played and they that do, makes one question is it more about them than the community. I would like to say a genuine and heartfelt thank youto you all, you know who you are, the people that have supported me out and about and behind the scene. I want to also say it is more than disappointing that some people felt it ok to... vilify some of my volunteers due to their nationality, telling them to %&*# off and go home.. To you folk, this is their home! Logan is a place where we have opportunity to live and learn together, not have this divide growing between us. I met some more great people while getting out in the community after work and I think it very reasonable to say, regardless of the result, many people want better than we have had, let’s seriously hope this improves moving forward. Also Les and Jon, thank you both for giving the community a choice where to vote. See more

18.01.2022 You can go to a fruit and veg market, brush past people in the supermarket, yet not sit on a beach by yourself...WTF

09.01.2022 Afternoon families, Please see below the latest information passed on through the Principal from the Director General. Please note that schools are to remain o...pen. If you wish to keep your children at home, learning materials are now available on the Department of Education’s new learning@home website (qld.gov.au/learningathome). This website has downloadable learning materials, tips for parents and links to other well-regarded, free education websites that parents and caregivers and their children can use. Your children will not be marked as having unauthorised absences. Please be advised that: as is currently the case, parents should let the school know if their child will not be attending school, for how long, and the reason why For students whose parents have decided to keep them at home due to COVID-19, this will be considered a reasonable excuse If you continue to receive text messages after advising the school of absences, please disregard. The office ladies are doing their best to keep information as up to date as possible.

03.01.2022 This is a reply that I sent to a post just before. I think it is pertinent that we question what we want in our community. To change direction we need to make the change happen. We can do so much to bring our community together. Our community has such potential and one of the reasons I decided to nominate for 5 is I have seriously had enough of the incompetence, the waste, the self indulgence, the games. If we want transparency then be transparent, seriously. If this is the best we can do, we may as well all pack up and leave. Sorry, but it’s the truth, we need much much more than we are getting lately and I can’t see it changing with the same at the helm again.
