25.01.2022 On the road to Lake Mungo. Zero light pollution and forecast of clear skies. Star photography here I come!

25.01.2022 Last night got to try the Pentax K1 at the launch in Sydney. I haven't shot full frame before, but have been intrigued by the tiny morsels of information dropped by Pentax over the last year or so. It lived up to my expectations and then some. Got to meet some great people in the business, and look forward to boosting mine with its (soon soon) acquisition!

21.01.2022 5 images stitched together. It is a large image on full frame format.

02.01.2022 It has been some time since running a photography course (not for another organisation), so on the 3rd of September will be running a course in Kingston (Canberra) for a six hour manual controls course. This course is designed for the photographer to get to know the manual controls of their SLR more intuitively. We will be using the Kingston Foreshore area and if time a small part of the Jerrabombera Wetlands area to work our forming skills. Message me if you are interested. Start time will be 10am, going through to about 4:30pm with a half hour break. If you don't have an SLR, then a point and shoot is fine, but be aware that there is limited functionality and you may not have access to all the prescribed learning. I do however have other ways to practice skills for a point and shoot.
