25.01.2022 How much revs?? 17000! New little racer for sale soon FZR 250

20.01.2022 Go any where! New Aprilia ad?

20.01.2022 Collected some amazing pics of the 1988 World Championship season which was a huge struggle from the very first test in Australia at Surfer Paradise raceway the...n to Calder raceway for TV filming for Rothmans promos before the season started. The problem started when It was very difficult to find rear grip in testing with the 88 bike with Jeremy Bergess (Crew ChJeff) we struggled with achieving lap times from the previous year and after many meetings with HRC staff every body had no answers as to why there was less rear grip ? So with No logical answers from Honda we started the 1988 race season and we struggled our arses off with results as I was riding my Balls off , harder , faster and more aggressive but still no results which was frustrating when your flying the flag for the Honda Motor Corporation Anyway after 6-7 frustrating GP races and bad results Honda finally come clean and explained they used a new F1 engineer on the bike design and he lowered to bike by 25mm like in F1 which included all the important pivot points went down which explained why we had No F..ing rear grip So after this bad news we asked HRC what can we do to fix the problem and they said nothing as this is how we designed the bike for the 88 season !!! So after some infuriating discussions with HRC Jerry and myself convinced HRC we wanted to go testing to raise the bike with in adjustment levels to see what improvements we could find and HRC agreed. So we tested at 2 different smaller tracks ( outside of the GP track controls ) as was amazed after 4 days of testing we raised the bike by 30mm and All the pivots came up and our lap times improved by over 1.5sec per lap !!! These pics below show how fast we became in the second half of the season infact I started winning at Assen and won 4 races on the trot and was catching Eddie Lawson in the Championship rapidly. However at the French GP I was on my way to winning 5 races and with a 2 second lead over the group and on the last lap with 4 corners to finish the engine over heated because of a water pump failure and it seized on 2 cylinders and I slowly limped home in to 4th place Unfortunately the huge points loss was enough to loose the World Title chase to Eddie Lawson that weekend which was extremely disappointing from HRC an Honda Motor Corp mechanical failure Anyway exciting times and fun memories but loosing a World title still really hurts See more
