25.01.2022 How often do you roll and store your play mat? For most of us the answer is not at all often! But for Grandparents or perhaps those who have a mat for ‘occasional use’ or even the ‘travellers’... here’s a little *TIP* ... Roll the play mat with your favourite side (or side you want showing next time) on the outer. This way when you take it back out the curled edges will be facing downward and the mat will flatten much faster! Alternating the outer design each time you roll it away will also help to keep the mat constantly flat! See more

17.01.2022 PUMPKIN PIE One minute balls of laughter and cute little giggles, Nek minute teething little monsters screaming bloody murder! and yet the love remains the same! We have had a nasty few weeks of sickness with this little cherub! Gastro, rhinovirus, conjunctivitis and teething to boot! he is finally back to his cute little self! ... You know what I did learn though!! 1. Teething won’t give temps higher then the 38’s - hit 39’s and bub is fighting something. 2. paracetamol and ibuprofen shouldn’t be given longer then 3 days in a row. ... or so I was told, would love your input on this if you have any!

08.01.2022 Do I NEED a play mat? When buying baby items the list CAN be never ending and absolutely overwhelming or it can be quite simple! I have popped them into three categories below I hope it helps some of the first time parents you don’t need it all right away I promise!... 1. Needs 2. Highly important 3. Luxury items 1. NEEDS: Your new babe doesn’t really need anything other then milk, nappies, clothing, and love - just like us! THATS IT - head to the birthing suite & you’re set! 2. HIGHLY IMPORTANT: Then there are items such as a cot, car seat, pram and high chair. For babes safety, you really can’t go without these but babe isn’t going to mind or ‘die’, if you cant provide all of these immediately - aka DONT panic about these right now but prioritise them over a hella expensive baby bag! 3. LUXURY: These days those items are followed closely by a never ending list of creature comforts that make being a parent that little bit easier and at times can be marketed as MUST HAVES. Such as rockers, bottle warmers, heart monitors, cameras, jumpers, walkers, bath aids OMGosh the list continues! And let’s be real ladies a play mat IS on this list! 100% a luxury item! I will be the first person to tell you that you don’t NEED a play mat, your babe will survive without one. BUT will it make your life easier? Umm hell FRICKEN YES it will! I would (two babes into mum life) forfeit all the gagets in this category in place of a play mat. It’s not an item that will only last a few months (like many on this list) it’s an item that is used from birth onwards and for many milestones. But the great news is items in this list are not always needed from day dott so you have time to save your pennies and choose your favourites!
