25.01.2022 This is another outstanding bathroom renovation where the clients stuck to a budget but they didn't have to compromise on the end result (which was well under $9000) The entire bathroom was stripped bare before being kitted out with all new fittings and tiling. Plumbing was also included so that all the taps were changed to mixers, at the bath, sink and in the shower. The end result is a much more open feel, a clean look with a little pizzazz from the feature tiles that are on the entire perimeter of the walls. Plus there's extra storage with the addition of a mirror cabinet. We are always available for free quotes, no obligation or course
24.01.2022 A makeover completed in a day and it's certainly a WOW change. All the fibreglass sheets were removed and disposed of, then the colorbond and polycarb sheets were installed. The overall finish is excellent.
24.01.2022 The best way to start our annual leave is to have Michael install the 1st of two windows in our loft We are so looking forward to enjoying the ocean breeze in this room (that we built 12 years ago!!)
24.01.2022 It's a perfect afternoon for Michael to be making some changes to our roof. I'm getting so excited for the end result Laura
23.01.2022 This renovation is almost, almost finished but we are just so proud of it that we are sharing the before and after pre-finished. Michael commenced the reno on Monday 19th Oct. Look at the window, notice the shower, what about the bathtub, spot the vanity...
23.01.2022 So happy to share the fantastic results of the job completed today. The paving looks fabulous and I also installed custom gates to the rear of the garage.
22.01.2022 It was a tough one manually today but woah the end result of day 1 is excellent. Tomorrow the freshly cleared area will have a soak well installed and it will be paved.
22.01.2022 A few more hours this afternoon = one heck of an amazing feature wall Now bring on the Long Weekend where I can crack the whip - Laura
21.01.2022 We sure do love a colorbond gate install. The security on this property just went up 1000%
21.01.2022 The paving is getting the final touches - luckily Michael has had a fabulous TA for the last few days We hope to share the final result tonight.
20.01.2022 Michael sure does end up in some tight spots whilst on site. We are replacing storm damage fence today, not the most ideal weather but it must be done
19.01.2022 So excited to be saying goodbye to this bathroom, the transformation will be complete on Saturday.
19.01.2022 Saturday afternoons are for floor tiling..... Well I, Laura have Michael working hard in our bathroom. Look at the beautiful glowing sun coming in from our roof window
18.01.2022 Michael was able to spend a couple more hours in our bathroom today which means we have a working vanity and all the wall tiling (that has been finished) is grouted. It's going to be worth the wait, that's for sure. The vanity, mirror and tall boy were from The Project People who have such a fabulous selection of products for wet areas.
16.01.2022 You don't have to gut your whole laundry and spend a lot, to give it a makeover Just leave the tiling on the floor and do everything else. This job included; cabinets, benchtop, over head cupboards, sink and splash back tiling. All the washing machine services are in the cupboards as well. Contact us for a free quote.
16.01.2022 Love getting a kitchen done. I had to remove the bricked oven structure and repair the plaster. I also painted the existing pantry door gloss white to match the kitchen doors. The kitchen design included new wall hung cupboards for more storage. There was also 3 new LED lights installed. Both the plumbing and electrical contractors were included, so the customer only had to make the choices I did all the other organising = Happy customer
15.01.2022 The sun is shining upon Michael's work..... The weekend is certainly going to allow Michael to get lots done and that makes me happy - Laura
14.01.2022 Sometimes we install things, and sometimes we don't........... Plus sometimes Laura even comes out on site.......
13.01.2022 So the progress on our own bathroom is a little slow (as customers come first) but Michael has managed to fit in a little tiling this afternoon and we're very excited to see this wall come to life with 'shipwood' tiles which were purchased from The Project People
13.01.2022 We tried so hard to beat the rain...... Alas only 2 panels left and the heavens open!!!!!
13.01.2022 Got an old beat up shed door? I replaced this door with a wider door so the owner could ride their "ride on mower" into the shed for cover and security. Plus the new one is much stronger
13.01.2022 Michael and I (Laura) are in the process of renovating our ensuite, it's been about 2 years in the waiting as we purchased the floor tiles 2 years ago. Over the weekend Michael gutted the room, oh my goodness so much dust in our bedroom as we have an open ensuite The ceiling had a square drawn on it ready for a big change, can you guess what might be happening here?
12.01.2022 Michael and I may run a "Property Maintenance" business but Michaels skill set almost knows no bounds. During our bathroom renovation he installed a window above the shower and over the Christmas break he installed two windows in our loft. These windows are so amazing as we have not had to put on our aircon except for 2 days in January. If you are ever in need of some work around your property no matter how big or small just give us a call for a Free, no obligation, quote.
12.01.2022 It may be a small kitchen renovation but the difference is priceless. This kitchenette is in a 'break room' for tradies and certainly was a welcomed upgrade.
12.01.2022 The last two days has been very rewarding as Michael completed a paving job beneath a patio. The 32sqm of paving was completed with fabulous 300x300 pavers and is a great addition to this property.
11.01.2022 Michael has completed another large renovation, this one being a kitchen install. We work with the owners ensuring that they get exactly what they want. In this instance, the owner did the demolition (with Michael taking the rubbish to the tip) The kitchen, which is a Bunning's kaboodle kitchen was built and installed by MILA. Once installed the owner did the splashback tiling themselves and then Michael re-attended to install the rangehood and box in above the tall cabinets
11.01.2022 This is the view we have when showering in our newly renovated ensuite. There's only a few remaining items to be completed and then we will reveal the bathroom in full to you all
11.01.2022 Michael is the best, even on the weekends he works!!!! (for me, Laura) I wanted a new pot plant display and I decided that the little corner window would be a perfect home for the plants. Now we just need to get a few more for the top and bottom shelf
10.01.2022 We think it's time for another update on our bathroom renovation. It's nearing the end and I'm super grateful to Michael for working on a Sunday to get us up and running again. The room has a much bigger feel to it and I'm so looking forward to showering under the sky - Laura
10.01.2022 This renovation is an incredible transformation. The total cost of this complete do-over which included: ripping out the existing bathroom to a shell, disposal of rubble, water membraning the shower walls/floor, plumber to install a shower wall mixer, tiling floor to ceiling inclusive of feature tiles, new 1m1m shower screen, vanity, tapware, towel rail, mirror and glass corner shelf was $7995 Materials from Bunnings except shower screen which came from The Project People.
09.01.2022 We are incredibly happy to be sharing with you the outstanding renovation of our ensuite. The entire room was gutted and retiled plus fit out with all new cabinetry, fittings and accessories. Included in the renovation was the installation of a roof window which is honestly our most favorite addition to this room. We had materials from The Project People Port Kennedy Glass and Bunnings Warehouse Australia. The plumbing was completed by Banksies and the electrical by Peter Boucher. It really is quite amazing how different you can make one room look, especially in such a small space.
09.01.2022 Tomorrow will be a day of rest but the last two days have certainly seen some awesome progress. We love that the tiling will seamlessly run from the bathroom into the toilet area.
07.01.2022 Today I, Michael was allowed to get my 'demolition man' pants on. This kitchen was removed including knocking out a few walls...... Later this week I'll share the newly renovated kitchen.
07.01.2022 So our shower is fully functional now and yesterday's efforts included the install of the solar powered blind in the roof window. This is very important as we have an 'open' ensuite and occasionally like to wake up after the sun rises. Watch how cool this is...... Michael is a very clever Handy Man (Laura)
06.01.2022 When Michael isn't renovating bathrooms, cleaning gutters or hanging pictures you'll find him working for Santa. Michael is a very very handy "handyman". This letterbox was designed and made by Michael
04.01.2022 Another 2 bathrooms done (at the same house) This is the perfect example where I will do "your" choices and not "make" you do what will make my photos look better The vanities were left in and so was the bath. This can save a considerable amount of $$$, if they are in good condition of course. All materials were purchased from Bunnings.
02.01.2022 We promise you that today's efforts weren't for a CV bunker!!! Both Laura and I worked together harmoniously to install this custom shelving to a storeroom in a school canteen. We are both police cleared for jobs like this and love knowing that it will make a great difference for the canteen ladies.
02.01.2022 Today's crazy adventure included the removal of our toilet door and frame in the ensuite. We promise it's for a good reason (it better be because it was Laura's idea and there's no putting it back now)
02.01.2022 This here is what we installed where Michael drew the square above our shower recess. So yes, it's a little like a skylight but it's actually an opening window
01.01.2022 We're sprinting to the finish line of 2019 with a week of little yet important jobs. The re-oiling of this deck yesterday was a great little job we completed.
01.01.2022 We are thrilled to have been able to supply and install this extra storage solution in an established kitchen. The client went for wall cabinets above the refrigerator and beside the range hood plus a custom set of flush cupboards within an unused niche. The doors have been installed using the push to open system which has allowed the cupboards to have a real sleek look.
