16.01.2022 I always see posts looking for 'cheap' work or 'why do tradies charge an arm and a leg?' Well I'll lay it out. We don't get paid vacation, we don't get payed sick leave, we dont get paid annual leave, no carers leave, paternity or maternity leave, no pay on rain days, no overtime or bonuses for outstanding performance during the year from the boss. The skills we have were expensive to attain along with the tools/vehicles and the time invested in your job.
