25.01.2022 Awesome to see so much work get done today at the Storm. Huge thanks thanks to the workers Shonzy, Red, Chizzy, Matty, Bugs, JC, Trevor for going hard and also to those who are working over the rest of the weekend that couldn’t make today. Started on our timing system. More irrigation for lawn. Levelled for a section of turf. Concrete around back of club house. Cleaned up all the pickets and bunting. Sprayed weeds. BBQ cleaned. All post dug and put in for fire hoses to be used as track watering. Mowed and snipped, and plenty of other stuff. Not hard to see why our club the Storm is the best Club in the universe. Sorry to here bout all the clubs struggling in covid, cos where not Bwahaha. Challenge excepted and where winning. Can see us on the track shortly.

18.01.2022 Racing...... Everyone we hope to have racing this week. We are waiting for the next state restrictions to be announced to decide what format or if we are allowed. Due to other sports and the chance that some people still may get to travel, if we race this week it will be Monday the 14th (public Holliday). We will be down a lot of key officials if race on weekend. Entries will be done on Entry boss and those who have already nominated and paid for the cancelled meet will go in... automatically. Stay tuned as soon as we know something you guys will be told. Stay Rad Homies
18.01.2022 With the club currently putting in the transponder system riders above sprockets which is 8 boys/girls plus will need these to race. This system will help our club moving forward and a great training tool. Be sure if you don’t already have 1 to chase em up. Once Jamie is happy with everything and the system is working perfect the next meet riders will require a transponder. https://bmxaustralia.com.au/transponders/

13.01.2022 Gates tonight people. With racing only weeks away it’s time to get back into it. Normal times. Tracks in good great condition and the 2 new jumps are getting tweaked ready for the new series.
13.01.2022 Track attack Results Day 1 at Casey... 9 boys we had OutBack Jack and Dare. Jack had a consistent day through his moto’s to qualify for the final and finish 5th after missing the gate. Dare improved every heat, and raced the B final where he was much closer in the pack and finished 6th. 10 boys Frosty and Eli went round with Eli having some good battles. He raced the b final and finished 6th. Frosty had a good day. His best gate was the final where he was up front with Jonty.... They ran wide in turn 1 to allow a quick rider past and dropped back to finish 4th. 11 boys we had Jetcalf and Chizzy. Chizzy was awesome all day beating some handy riders. Come final time he was unreal out the gate and ran a good 2nd, and will be looking for a win today. In his cruiser he got quicker every race to finish 2nd in points. Jetcalf Raced hard and his determination seen him qualify for the final after a good semi. A good battle throughout and he finished 7th although his speed will have him fighting for finals all week. 12 boys we had Victor at his first away meet and although very unsure of the different track gained great experience and finished 8th in the b final. Today Vic is gunna turn it on. 14 boys Rusty had a huge crash in practice. He was extremely sore but still rode his heats and finished consistent to make the final. Not himself in the final just before the finish he went down and finished 8th. Rusty is done for the week and now in the Royal Children’s Hospital after the huge crash in practice had done him no favours then a 2nd crash. We wish him well. 15 boys Calamari was flying with top 2 in every race. Come final time he got in a bit of a mixer with another top rider and he finished 4th. His def a chance to sneak a win with some luck. 30 to 39 was Weatie. Each race he was Smooth around the track to pick of spots and with the Storm kids cheering him took out the Win for the day. 11 girls we had Ruby. The different conditions from home and the huge hill made it a bit harder. The experience gained for the rest of the week is sure to help her improve today from her 8th place. 12 girls Holly raced hard. Awesome battles all day where she come home with a 6th place. 15 girls we had Shak. Had a pretty good day to finish 3rd. Good luck to all our Stormers today at Lilydale for round 2.
12.01.2022 Round 2 of track attack results. Another great day and no crashes from the Storm riders. Top days racing in perfect conditions. 9 boys Dare finished 7th in the b final but has improved a huge amount from his first heat at Casey. Jack also improved. His gates were much better and he was around the front all day finishing 4th in his final. 10 boys Frosty had good first straight speed, but struggled on the 3rd straight and finished 5th in his final. 11 boys had Jetcalf have a... top day in his heats but come his semi just a small mistake allowed him to get squeezed and he missed the final to bring home 1st in the b final. His speed was better than his result. Chizzy was much like Jack. A good honest day and up the pointy end of his heats and brought home a good 3rd in his final. While on cruiser once again claim 2nd. 12 boys and Vic was much happier on the Lillydale track. Said he really enjoyed his days racing gaining more experience and 2nd in his c final. 15 boys Calamari was on fire. Looked on point in every heat. Come final time he laid down a perfect lap to take the win. Check out the Video. 30/39 Weaties grabbed the 2 spot. We are sure he’ll be itching at the bit to try for the win next round. 11 girls and Ruby was another with a lot more confidence as the day went on taking 7th but more importantly was way more mixing it up. Holly in 12 girls had another solid day to grab the 6th spot while Shak finish 3rd again in the 15 girls. See more

09.01.2022 Members.... Tonight at racing all lawn areas will be wet so remember to bring a chair and please stay out of any mud. Reason being council have had a leak which they have had looked at and need to run a camera through the pipe under the road. They have been kind enough to turn the water on for our race meeting both tonight and Sunday so we can water the track and continue to race. The only down side is it’s the only time we will be able to water the lawns which are looking ...very sick with this hot weather. Cheers for understanding storm troopers Catch u all at racing.

08.01.2022 Any of our mini wheelers shredders wanna try something different. Check this During intervals at the Phil Crump Solo International this Saturday night, there club will be hosting there first Balance Bike races for children under 5 years of age. If your child has a balance bike that they can ride soundly, and would enjoy partaking please advise Donna Stewart via Messenger or SMS to 0407227065
08.01.2022 Time to send it.... Training and Racing. Training at this stage will Resume in the 25th September. The club is currently putting in the timing system and due to yesterday’s rain has put us back with the complex so wet. There are some big changes from last time with the new regional restrictions. Although riders and officials and those completed the club volunteer will have to give there name there is no limit on riders as we can have what is needed to have the event.... What has also changed is we are NOT having any spectators. With the limit provided it would just be unfair to let a small few in while Majority miss out. This means for ANY rider needing a parent to train, race or ride that parent must of done the club volunteer/official like some did last time for the kids to race. This is the biggest difference from last time as it’s not just limited to racing but every session training included (no exceptions). Face mask mandatory unless riding. Lastly with police patrolling the area constantly we advise if you wish to stay around please sit in your car or stay well away from others and no more than 10 in your group. The Storm will take no responsibility for anyone outside our complex. See more
07.01.2022 After a rippin noit, gotta send out some super special lovin to some shredders. I was impressed with everyone and how close our racing was. Leashy doesn’t take bmx over serious and is there to enjoy. Maybe she should re-think. By far the best days racing she’s ever done. Rhonda with the senior girls and it’s made the class, cheers for joining there party. The 8 to 9 class has stepped it right up, heaps of muppets smokin up the asphalt berms. It’s an awesome class. Fletcher do...ing his first night out of the gate in 5 under rockets was cool. Jace Dunstan had his best night by a long way. There were 3 riders that took the eye. 2 of em have got the Pres award before that being demolition Darby Mills and Liveeee Midgley who are both pullin down there times from the top shelf. The other was his first time and that was our club secretary Lethal Leigh Pyke. The old dudes class has some off tap racing and these dudes are a better quality than they joke bout. A huge shout out to everyone who chipped in and helped out. Those on a hose looking after the track. Jamie and his crew. T Rev and the staging crew. Berm and Straight officials. Now a special big shout out to the canteen people. Tonight made us realise we need more hotdogs at night shows lol. It’s not a simple show up and serve. It’s the filling canteen during the week. There way early to start cooking and making food. Then the clean up way late. See more

05.01.2022 Great day by the Storm. Ashlyn got quicker every race sending the big hill to finish second. Kylah missed her first race (I think it was cos Adam was still sore from his crash and couldn’t get her up there quick enough) then was improving every race to finish 5th. Jack had a good day with all 2nds and 2nd in the final. Frosty had wins and was tryin some jumps he would t normally do in a race to win. Jetcalf had mixed heats and looked good, then a brain fart in the final lol, to finish 5th. (Breathe deep Trev). Holly had a good day and had a great final to finish 2nd. Rusty had a awesome day. Managed 6th in the final. Callum had a good day saving his best till last and got 2nd in his final to josh jolly. Paul had a consistent day and dodged the carnage in the final to finish 2nd.

03.01.2022 I could put all our kids results up.... but I won’t. All our shredders were legends and done there best. I’ll do results later but for now we wish Big Rusty all our Storm powers. He had a mastiff crash in practice. He still sent it and went down again later. Rusty is not in the best way but will be back bigger than ever. All the best Rusty, a little liver problem and brain bleed ain’t gunna stop our most improved shredder. Full send.

Jobs....... -chip weeds and put in bin along pro straight. -chip larger weeds around complex. -quick spray with round up. - small amount of bunting to be put up to seperate take food away outlet. -set up sign in table for officials and riders. - small amount of back filling helping out Jamie. -track to be swept in sections. -normal gate set up - COVID reminders Practice times are 10.15 to 10.45 for all classes then mini wheelers from 10.45 to about 11. Riders welcome at 11am with racing to follow. TakeAway food outlet will be operating. Please be mindful of the COVID safe distancing in line up. (storm are not responsible) Atleast we are back racing. Anyone who has completed the club official/volunteer online and wishes to enter to help out are welcome. There’s been huge changes in the last month. Most you won’t see as it’s all buried. But a massive thanks to Jamie JC the legend that is Collins for taking on the project of the timing system and running with it his way. Awesome job he has done. Thanks to those who have helped as his asked. Also big thanks to those who have helped with the extension of mains water and the fitting of sprinklers and solenoids and the long awaited fitting of the new fire hose reels spread around the track for watering track purposes. Matty Maher again you work is appreciated. Big thanks to anyone who had gave time. Half hour or half day, it all helps. Thanks also to Wade Fell for once again giving us clean fill for the new start hill which is getting closer. Easy to see why we are the best club in the planet.
01.01.2022 Attention all members! Due to the restrictions the track is closed as of tonight at 11:59pm for 7 days and racing is postponed! No racing this Sunday, but hopefully back on track next weekend!
01.01.2022 How cool is that, 1 minute no grass next minute grass. Many hands make light work. We now have grass between the 3rd and 4th straight and widened the grass along the first straight. Thanks to Ed, Rhonda, Lovey, Adam and Shonzy for giving me a hand. Now to give it plenty of water. Storm rock Don’t forget nominations close tonight for racing 9am Sunday
