11.01.2022 VAN LIFE NO FILTER, Week 30 This week we went fully into relax mode, we were staying right on the Murray River at Riverbend Caravan Park, Renmark, our first sto...p in South Australia. Think we needed a holiday from our holiday (is there such a thing) and this was the perfect place for it. I’ve been battling a Summer cold for the last couple of weeks, which sucks and had completely drained my energy. We had no TV reception, husband read two novels and I haven’t seen him pick up a book (beyond uni textbooks or kids books) since I met him 20+ years ago. Kids played in the river, daily rounds of totem tennis, made some friends who were catching yabbies, went for bike rides, watched some movies, we bought Scarlett the new Lion King and it’s been on repeat day after day. Besides a couple of grocery shop outings, we only left the caravan park one day to visit a local brewery in Paringa, which was great and well worth the trip, I highly recommend their Hard Lemonade!

07.01.2022 With travel restrictions in place across the country and across the world its made me reflect on how much freedom we have had; Im so very grateful to have been able to see and experience so much. But I also cant wait to see and do more!!!
