14.01.2022 TUMBLED STONE MANIFEST It's always exciting when new shipments arrive, and this one is no exception. Below is the list of tumbled stones that I am expecting to ...arrive very shortly, and together with me be able to go back into regional Victoria as of next Monday, I can finally begin to start visiting clients again, some of whom I haven't seen since the beginning of this year. In the meantime, I am continuing to take orders from my interstate clients. I promise to get to you as soon as possible and before Christmas too, providing the border bans get lifted. As always, if you have any queries, or would like to discuss an order, you are most welcome to contact me in any of the usual ways.

12.01.2022 More MOLDAVITE. Just 7 weeks ago, I let you know all about my November shipment. My prediction at the time was that despite the Tik Tok craze for the world's m...ost powerfully enegetic mineral being well and truly over, the demand from all of those genuine crystal people out there would still be high. Well, using the word "high" to describe that demand was probably a bit of an understatement. "Overwhelming" would have been a better description because most that stock disappeared faster than a fart in a cyclone. Anyhow, lots more have arrived (see photos), and with the overall demand for crystals being higher now than at any other time in the 28 years I have been a crystal wholesaler, I am expecting this lot to do another vanishing act. So, get your skates on. Get in contact with me ASAP so you can have one of the first picks. As per previous shipments, the gram weight is written on each bag. I will look forward to talking to you soon. See more

Restrictions remain in regional Victoria From 11:59 pm on Thursday, 3 June 2021, if you live in regional Victoria, there are no restrictions on the reasons to leave home, but staying COVIDSafe remains important. Social gatherings You can see friends and family outdoors in a public place in a group of up to 10 people.... Face masks Face masks must be carried at all times and must be worn indoors. You do not need to wear a mask in your own home or if a lawful exception applies. Face masks are required outdoors where physical distancing of 1.5m cannot be maintained, for example, at a busy open-air market. Hospitality Restaurants and cafes are open for dine-in service with a density quotient of 1 person per 4 sqm and a maximum of 50 people per venue. There is a maximum on group bookings of 10 people. The limit on customers for seated, dine-in service is in place to ensure everyone can keep 1.5 metres distance. Food courts can also re-open with the same limits on the number of customers. Regional businesses are required to check identification of their customers to ensure they live in regional Victoria. A permitted visitor from metropolitan Melbourne is not allowed to dine in unless they are a permitted worker. Entertainment Indoor seated entertainment venues can open with a seated capacity of 25 per cent and a density quotient of 1 person per 4 sqm up to maximum of 50 people per venue. Keep at least 1.5 metres between yourself and others. Never, ever go out if you are unwell unless it is to get tested. After you get tested, you must go straight home. Remember that the most important thing you can do is get tested, even if you have the mildest of symptoms. Get vaccinated if you are eligible. Refer to this page for the full Regional information. 09.01.2022 Incredible cherry-red Rhodochrosite crystals from N'Chwaning Mine, Kalahari Manganese Fields, Kuruman, South Africa This is a superb example of gorgeous cherry-...red rhodochrosite crystals from the N’Chwaning mines. These well-formed crystals display amazing luster, color and "gemminess." The large scalenohedral crystals actually have an interesting truncated termination where the tips are flattened. 7.79 x 6.85 x 4.93 cm - from @mineralandy collection. See more
09.01.2022 BLOODSTONE. As I unpack my (largest ever) tumbled stone shipment, I am coming across stones that I have been waiting months and months for ... and this is one o...f them. 28.12.2021 The latest Newsletter is out and here is the link. https://1drv.ms/b/s!Alvd9jFE8yZThPgkf5ScURHgXH8q_g?e=s5HhPF Our first meeting for 2022 is on tonight, all welcome
09.12.2021 Very sad to have to make this post, but we have had to cancel the show for next weekend. A number of factors have played a part, but the dominant one was the s...pread of Covid and its impact on some of our members. This is a great loss for our Club and we hope that no member of the public has been greatly impacted by this decision.
22.11.2021 Haven't posted about the Gemshow for ages Must be time. Will be contacting the Covid people early next week to ensure that we can still run. So we are on course... for the 22nd and 23rd (Only three weeks away) from 9:00 'til 4:00. The Stadium is 780 Square metres and so as far as I can work out we should be able to have something like 400 or so at the Show at a time. Historically we only have 400 - 500 over both days in total so numbers are NOT a problem. Really it is a HUGE market/demonstration medium. Do not forget about the raffle which will be drawn at the Show. We have attached photos of the first two prizes ($1100 Parti sapphire and $800 Solid Opal pendant) so have a look 'cos when we sit in the Riverland selling tickets people are stunned!!!! Tickets $2 each (maximum of 2000 Currently less than 1000 sold) will be on sale at the event and drawing at 3pm on Sunday 23rd. Let me know if you intend to come along in reactions. Will confirm the Show is on as soon as I can talk to the Covid people. Their phones are rather busy lately. See you there. See more
19.11.2021 The Gemshow is ON!!!! Just spoke to the Covid people in SA. They assure me that we have no problems due to the size of the auditorium. We will however be encour...aging the use of masks and hand sanitizing. There will be Covid marshals monitoring people but that is just like any retail outlet in SA. We have more than 60 trestles (That is more than 150Metres of display/Sales) There will be a cafe operating and a REAL coffee stall. Expect to have 5 or 6 FREE raffles with prizes in each one at least worth $50 (Just get a ticket as you pay entrance) Looking forward with confidence as I hope you are. See you in a couple weeks.
