01.01.2022 WELCOME NEW STUDENTS! We will be commencing our zoom Multi-campus Commons Time sessions for 1st Year students this week. If you are speaking to first year students please encourage them to come along . Below is some information on commons time and when each of the sessions are being run. What is Commons Time?... Commons Time is a program for first-year students designed to support their transition into university life. It’s all about making the student experience that bit lighter and brighter, by bringing together students in similar disciplines to build connections with peers and staff, develop interdependence and answer the age-old question: ‘What does it mean to be a university student?’ Instead of attending a weekly session at each campus, there’s now an online Multi-campus Commons Time each week for each of the areas of study. One cool thing about this new arrangement is that students get to hang out online with students from other regional campuses. We now have an LMS page where students can access resources and further information about the different sessions https://bit.ly/CommonsTime Session Times & Facilitator Business/Arts Monday 12pm 1pm Cathy O’Sullivan Nursing/Social Work Tuesday 1pm 2pm Natasha Baker Education Tuesday 1pm 2pm Suzie Janssen
