22.01.2022 Sunraysia U13 boys remain undefeated Congratulations to Mildura West Cricket Club players Josh Driscoll, Max Bell and Riley Cox who have been representing Sunraysia in the Under 13 Junior Country Week. Games have been played against Central Region on Sunday 1st November and Swan Hill District on December 13 with an intra region scratch match in between. All three boys have contributed with bat and ball in the matches they have played in and special mention goes to Josh Drisco...ll who at the ripe old age of 11 is Captain of Sunraysia U13's. There is still hope there might be another game or two to be organised before the season wraps up. One thing we know for sure is the boys will be representing Mildura West with great pride!! Well done boys!!

22.01.2022 Brandon Dixon picked up his fourth first division bowling award for the club. He’s pictured with club champion Ben Hallam’s better half Demi Wall who’s chosen her photo partner well!!

22.01.2022 These two super siblings had the opportunity of a lifetime today, they got to play in the same team for the first time ever Matisse and Taj Hill played in the U14 Div1 team. This is Matisse’ first year playing cricket. She normally plays in the U14 girls team, however today she kept to her brothers bowling and did an excellent job all round! WELL DONE KIDS, KEEP UP THE AWESOME WORK!!

20.01.2022 Hi Westies Quick reminder for our U/14 boys and girls that this Thursday night, training is starting at 4pm. If you could come in your Mildura West shirts it would be fantastic.... There will be a bbq for the kids after training as well.

20.01.2022 Big thanks to Mildura Rural City Council for delivering our new picnic tables at Aeros# 1 this morning. We are looking to concrete under them to continue improving this new structure for the upcoming season. If you have any ideas for facility upgrades that you would like to see, please let us know so we can continue to improve and maintain the best cricket grounds in the region..... well they are in our opinion anyways

19.01.2022 Although sport is in hibernation, we aren't! Some serious works have been completed around the club in the last month including: - New shade structure on Aeros# 1 - New switchboard on Aeros# 1 shade structure to allow multiple power points (thanks JAAZ Electrical) - 2 x new picnic tables being installed next week under the shade structure on Aeros# 1 ... - Fixed leaking irrigation that was flooding training nets - Scarified both centre wicket squares - Providing loam over damaged parts of the ovals With the help of Werrimull Football Netball Club we are looking at also installing a new 11 speaker stereo system and amplifier in the club rooms with multiple cordless microphone access along with MP3, bluetooth, HDMI, set top box and FM/AM radio capability. The speakers are installed inside the rooms and outside under the verandah to party on!! We want to ensure our players, supporters, sponsors and wonderful volunteers continue to be involved in the best sporting club in the region with the best facilities!! Check out some pics below. Go Westies!!

19.01.2022 ***Warning - Serious volunteer appreciation post coming*** Massive shout out to Hooter Wescombe for donating all the loam and some big hours of man power in providing the finishing touches to the new shade structure! The club is lucky to have some great volunteers and we love you all!!

14.01.2022 Hi Westies, welcome to season 20/21, we hope that the season will start soon and have no interruptions through the year. As this is a different looking season there are some extra things we need to cross of the list as a club. Due to family illness Sarah Hando will be stepping down from the Secretary roll we wish her and Adam all the best for the future, if you think that you could fill Sarah's Secretary roll then please contact Chambo. Second Roll is to have a COVID officer for the season, with out this the season for the club wont go ahead. This person would be in charge of all thing to do with the virus e.g. correct signage through out the club, making sure people signed in at the club. If you feel that you could help the club out this season then please contact club President Richard Chamberlain on 0458962158.

Locke Thornton, Chris Williams and Davey Mbindi snagged two wickets each. Second Division: West 6/160 lost to Nichols Point 4/162 A close game which we lost late in the day. 12.01.2022 Evening Westies As mentioned in a post yesterday our U14 T20 boys fell agonisingly short in a last ball thriller against Nichol's Point in yesterday's Grand Final. The boys had a fantastic tournament right down to the last ball!! Everyone played their part for the team at various stages throughout the shortened 3 round + Grand Final Tournament. ... The stats were evenly shared across the team throughout the tournament which shows the depth in our 14's squad. The top performers for the tournament were; Top 5 Run Scorers 1) Taj Hill - 126 runs @ 63.00 2) Cooper Penny - 61 runs @ 30.50 3) Josh Driscoll - 61 runs @ 30.50 4) Cooper Young - 48 runs @ 16.00 5) Riley Cox - 32 runs @ 32.00 Top 5 Wicket Takers 1) Cooper Young - 4 wickets @ 8.50 2) Riley Cox - 4 wickets @ 9.25 3) Taj Hill - 4 wickets @ 12.00 4) Jack Probert - 2 wickets @ 22.00 5) Max Bell - 1 wicket @ 26.00 If anyone has photo's from the day please add them in the comments.

08.01.2022 Mixed bag for Westies today. Our u/14 boys team lost the 20/20 grand final. We set a great target of 137 but unfortunately Nichols Point chased it down on the very last ball Taj Hill was our star with 68 off 64 balls and then took 2/19 off 3 overs. 01.01.2022 ****Registrations are now open**** Please click on the playcricket link below to begin the online registration process which takes less than 5 minutes. Everybody that wants to play MUST register online prior to the season commencing. It would be awesome if you can register yourself and/or your child as soon as possible so we have a gauge on how many players we have for each division/grade. The lead in from training to the first game is greatly reduced this year due to the del...ayed start to training. So it would be great if we could have as many registrations as possible as early as possible. If you have any questions feel free to comment below and we will get back to you as soon as we can. Happy Registering! https://www.playcricket.com.au/club-finder/club-details
