25.01.2022 A country spread This was the welcome we gave on one of our festival tours - where we showed festival visitors around our local gas, a local country garden and a gallery of art (in a special invitation only location). Miles Back to the Bush Festival is the best Australian country style welcome! See you in Miles next September 9-12.

23.01.2022 Busting to get out and let the kids experience country life? We’ll be ready to welcome you with some authentic bush fun in September if there’s any chance we can... but if we all have to wait a little longer, that’s OK too, we’re not going anywhere and we’ll be here later down the track looking forward to welcoming your family ‘Back to the Bush’ in Miles, Queensland

22.01.2022 Your Friday isolation happy hour, happy memories brought to you from the Bush Beards Bar at #backtothebushfestival The craft beers carefully selected and poured by Miles Windsor Hotel Cheers!

21.01.2022 A handsome young man... a beautiful young lady... an encounter at a fuel stop and thus began the story of these two Miles local legends. Our 2021 festival theme is ‘Legends & Larrikins’, so we’ve been interviewing some local legends and here is their story

21.01.2022 Have you witnessed how a rope was made in the old days? What about a good old millet broom? These skills and more will be demonstrated during the festival as we welcome the team at Australia’s Living History to join us all day on Saturday 11 September. This is something we’re excited to add to our 2021 festival and what better place to see these skills from yesteryear come to life then at our new festival venue - the Miles Historical Village Museum as we celebrate the village’s 50th anniversary

21.01.2022 BIG update from Jimmy Niggles Esq. today - the million dollar beard is coming off! We’re so looking forward to having Jimmy and Skin Check Champions at our festival in September and if you’re not familiar with his story this is well worth a watch

21.01.2022 When we can all see the other side of this chaotic tunnel.... we’ll be ready with the kettle on and a warm country welcome at #backtothebushfestival . Redefining how to do a festival - it’s our great pleasure to invite our festival visitors into our country lives, homes and backyards. This pic was taken at Mark’s place... a local builder who built this special venue by his dam and welcomed us and our festival bus tour to share the tranquility. We have much in store for the next festival - stay tuned. #thisisqueensland

21.01.2022 Are you a collector? We are! and what we mean is in our little town of Miles we’ve got what must be an above average penchant for... weakness for... skill for... collecting cool and quirky stuff! This is one little part, of one collection, held by one of our locals - and to be invited into our homes and backyards to see the rest, just keep the date free for our next #backtothebushfestival because we’ll have our welcome mats out during the Private Collections Tour the ...festival. View photo gallery of last festival’s collections tour here https://bit.ly/3jhNWHa. 9-12 September 2021... where a love of vintage and country collides in Miles, Queensland, Australia

19.01.2022 repost Miles Historical Village Museum Tribute to the ANZACs The Digger Statue embodies the ANZAC myth and represents the qualities of the ideal Australian - loyalty, courage, youth, innocence and masculinity. This original Digger Statue was relocated from the Pimpama Uniting Church to the Village in 1995 and is located at the entrance to tour War Exhibit. 'LEST WE FORGET'
