For those who would rather perform with some friends Open ensemble can include groups of 4 or more people, ANY instrument (including vocals), ANY song you like, for individuals aged up to 15 years. 22.01.2022 The MF Music Festival Team would like to say a big thank you to all who made this year's festival possible. Without the help of volunteers, there is no way the festival can run. It takes a lot of time, effort and commitment from start to finish. Thank you to the musical community for continuing to support the festival and registering your child/ren, we hope you enjoyed. Thank you to our awesome MFPS staff who stepped up and volunteered to help (including their own families). ...Thank you to the committee members for volunteering and assisting in the organisation. Thank you to the school parent volunteers (and their families) who also stepped in and helped out from donating food to the Cake Stall to helping out on the day. Every little help counts and it was fantastic to see everyone come together to make the festival happen. We hope to see you all next year, The Miles Franklin Music Scheme Committee

21.01.2022 The Miles Franklin Music Festival 2018 will take place on Saturday 18th and Sunday 19th August. We are not sure yet whether it will run over two days, or just one as it did last year, but please tell your friends and students that the dates have been finalised and more information will come out in early Term 2. Thanks!

21.01.2022 The Festival Programme has just been emailed to all who entered! Please check your inbox - and junk mail - to ensure you received it and let us know if you haven't. If your teacher registered on your behalf please check with him or her to make sure you know when your child's entry is taking place. Please also check your entries, especially if you entered the wrong section by mistake and requested a manual correction. and a reminder that this year's festival is taking place on Saturday 18th August only. 08.01.2022 Last minute reminders: Please make sure you arrive at least 10 minutes BEFORE your scheduled performance time to ensure smooth running of the Festival and you don't miss out; Please make sure you have a photocopy of your performance piece for the adjudicator. No photocopy facilities available on site;... Check if your performance piece is within the specified time limits. We will be enforcing this and warning bells will be rung; Bring your tickets including Family tickets - you can also purchase on the day for $5 per family; Please stop by our Cake Stall and purchase some baked treats, tea and coffee. 06.01.2022 Great news - Registration closing date has been extended to 24th August 2019. Don't miss out on performing at the Miles Franklin Music Festival 2019! Our annual Festival has run since 1986, and is a competitive but inclusive opportunity for students aged 7-15 to perform on a range of instruments in a supportive environment. The Festival is run by volunteers from the school’s P&C Music Scheme, and celebrates young musicians of all ages and stages, placing an emphasis on participation and camaraderie through a shared love of music. 02.01.2022 Entries for the Miles Franklin Music Festival 2018 have now closed, however Family Attendance Passes are still available and will be available until the morning of the 18th August. Teachers attend for free, however if you are watching your child perform please purchase a Family Attendance Pass if you haven't already!
