19.01.2022 Classroom Capers | Grade 2/3 Over the last six weeks, we have been lucky to have Miss Reedman teaching us a variety of different concepts like money, fractions and poetry. We have learnt to examine health messages and describe how to keep yourself and others healthy and physically active. Throughout our Art lessons, we have loved preparing and performing a dramatic performance using shadow puppets with voice, movement and focus. Keep an eye out in the comments for some of our performances! Thank you Miss Reedman and we wish you all the best in your future endeavours!

18.01.2022 Classroom Capers | 3H What a term it has been, I cannot believe we are in Week 9 already! We have been very busy in 3H this term, we’ve had our excursion to Colomboola, learnt all about information reports, shapes, angles and even learning our 3 times tables in a song. We are very excited to perform our song at parade next Friday. We are in the middle of completing lots of assessments, including a poster for science explaining all about night and day, an English information report about saltwater crocodiles and a drama piece all about saving endangered animals. I hope you all have a great holidays and I look forward to welcoming all the students back for their last Term of Year 3!

21.12.2021 Dear families, Please note the announcement below made by the Queensland government yesterday. These changes are to avoid full school attendance during the peak of the Omicron wave and to allow more time for children to receive their COVID-19 vaccinations. It is not mandatory for students to be vaccinated like it is for all staff and adult visitors to enter the school from the 24th January. Staff will be on site from the 24th of January to provide supervision for students of... ESSENTIAL workers only. Essential workers, as defined by the Queensland Government, include any worker who must attend their workplace and cannot work from home (e.g. emergency services, nurses, retail employees etc). I must stress if you can keep your child at home please do so for the safety of staff and students. **Please note this is supervision only with no formal learning taking place. Students will not miss out on essential content due to the delayed start of term. I would like to thank our families for their flexibility in working with the ever changing COVID-19 situation. We will keep this page updated with any further information as it is made available from the Department of Education. We look forward to the return of our students on Monday 7th of February and hope you have managed to enjoy the break so far. Continue to stay safe everyone. Regards, Rowie Price
