09.01.2022 Hi Families, Im Sure you have all heard the latest COVID news regarding the cases in Pimpama. Continued temperature checking will be in place at our centre. You will be able to take yours, and your childs own temp with the thermometer available at reception. We will record temperatures 38 and above. If your child has a temp of 38 or above, the child will be excluded . Please see below for current locations visited by the 3 infected community members.

05.01.2022 Milestones Coomera acknowledges and pays respect to the past, present and future Traditional Custodians and Elders of this nation and the continuation of cultural, spiritual and educational practices of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. Tomorrow on the 27th of May, reconciliation week begins. National Reconciliation Week is a time for all Australians to learn about our shared histories, cultures, and achievements, and to explore how each of us can contribute to achieving reconciliation in Australia. During this week the children will be participating in activities and group times based around Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture and traditions. Keep an eye out for updates!

03.01.2022 Fire drill! Today we participated in our scheduled emergency evacuation procedure. Its our duty to ensure all the staff and children are confident in the correct fire safety and evacuation procedures. During our emergency evacuation the staff and children are required to collect the fire bags, rolls and walk calmly in their classes to our evacuation area located in the car park.

02.01.2022 Our lovely Miss Court, who cares for our littlest shining stars, is going on Mat Leave on Monday the 7th of September. She will welcome into the world her very own little shining star. Miss Court is finishing a little earlier than expected . Our amazing casual Educators Miss Ash and Miss Tiffany will fill those shifts next week. From the 14th of September our Nursery Educators are Miss Jordan and Miss Melanie. All the best Miss Court xx we cant wait to meet your little man XX
