Educators provided several flag painting experiences and aboriginal drawings. These experiences were extended from the children's interest from our NAIDOC week celebrations last week. It is important for NAIDOC to be celebrated not only in Indigenous communities, but by all Australians. The week is a great opportunity to participate in a range of activities from arts and crafts, music and dancing to having visitors from the local community to share stories and resources that can enhance the children’s understanding and respect for our indigenous cultures.
