15.01.2022 For a small child there is no division between playing and learning; between the things he or she does ‘just for fun’ and things that are ‘educational.’ The child learns while living and any part of living that is enjoyable is also play. ~ Penelope Leach. The Kindergarten children had water play today. It was a wonderful, enjoyable, engaging and most importantly FUN activity! #learnthroughplay #lifelonglearningcentre #affinityeducationgroup #waterplay

14.01.2022 What happens when you put little gingerbread biscuits in cold water, hot water, vinegar and oil? That was the question our Kindergarten children asked during our science day as part of our Summer Program. Some of the observations included that they were sinking, that the one in the cold water cracked and the one in hot water was expanding. As part of our Kindergarten program, we regularly use project based learning such as this to explore new and exciting concepts. We still have vacancies in our 2021 Kindergarten class, so book a tour today at https://deeragun.milestones.com.au/book-a-tour

Here are some of our children having a blast last week with our water play trough.
