23.01.2022 Lifelong Learning at Home Starts Here! Effective tomorrow Thursday 6 August, our centre will be providing two types of early education and Kindergarten programs to local families as we do our part to Stop the Spread. Our in-centre early learning and Kindergarten program will be available only for the children of permitted workers or vulnerable children, delivered directly by our educators. ... All enrolled children who are required to isolate from home during Stage 4 restrictions will enjoy remote early learning and Kindergarten delivered by our educators directly to your homes. The Gap Fee will be waived for all enrolled families whose children are isolating at home, during Stage 4 COVID restrictions. Together, we’ll get through this! Call our Family Support Team on 1800 CHILD CARE for any further information.

22.01.2022 We're here for our families. During the lockdown, our centres continue to operate as normal with strict health and hygiene measures in place. After free child care ends, Victorian families will not pay any gap fees on days their child is enrolled to attend, but isolate at home. We'll be supporting our enrolled children with access to ongoing early education and Kindergarten learning and resources remotely. Our educators and Early Childhood Teachers will keep connected to all families, so their child's lifelong learning journey can continue. Together, we'll get through this.

15.01.2022 Little people...big emotions! One of the benefits of attending early education and care is the opportunity it provides for children to learn to self-regulate. What is self regulation? Self-regulation is learning about your own feelings and emotions, understanding how and why they happen, recognising them (and those of others), and developing effective ways of managing them. When children and young people learn to self-manage their emotions, they feel more confident, capable and in control. They have stronger relationships, are more able to pay attention, learn new things and can cope better with the normal stresses and disappointments of daily life. The below article from BeYou gives tips on how you can support self regulation development for your child. https://beyou.edu.au//social-and-emotional/self-regulation

11.01.2022 What is mindfulness mean for children? In many ways, this is just about getting your child to do what he or she naturally does. Young children are naturally mindful because every new experience is fresh and exciting for them. Older children and teenagers can learn mindfulness. The following article may assist with identifying ways you can support your own and your child's mindfulness https://raisingchildren.net.au//anger-anxiety-/mindfulness
