15.01.2022 BREAKING: as of 11:59pm Sunday 2/8, the Government has made the wearing of masks mandatory for the whole of Victoria. Residents will be required to wear masks outside of the home. There will be a $200 fine for residents caught outside without a face covering. The Government has announced that face masks are not mandatory for early childhood services because they are not places that drive transmission. We will however be wearing masks at drop off and pick up times when c...ollecting children from the drop off and pick up points. This is due to the close proximity of adult to adult contact during these times, especially with young babies. Our team will also be wearing masks in adult spaces, such as the staff room, during meetings or at times when having to work in close proximity with another adult. Children are not required to wear masks. The use of a scarf or bandana is also recommended and are perfectly fine for drop off and pick up times. See more

We are lucky here at Milestones Lakes Entrance to have a wonderful outdoor play space which ignites curiosity and confidence in our little adventurers. Everyday our children can run around with friends, explore play spots, and use their imaginations, which develops their minds and bodies. 10.01.2022 Twice a day we open our gates to allow our older children to explore with our younger friends. The benifits we have seen have been amazing! Here we see an older child exercising while a 7 month old intently watches then joins in seconds later. 2 minutes later there were 4 older children lined up next to this baby showing off there moves. (Sadly we missed that photo) Cherish all small moments and pause to admire them. #togetherness #yoga #learning #timestandstill

04.01.2022 Look at what our 4 year old Preschool program participated in this week. This project involved the concept of robots, what parts make up a robot, how do they move and what do they look like. The children watched a small clip about different robots, to explore how they are made. Collectively the children agreed to use recycled materials for their creations.... The children paired up and made one robot each pair. At the end of this task all children stood up in front of the class, in their pairs, to talk about why they made it the way they did. This project had so many learning oppurtunities that held their curious minds for a long time. As your Preschool child which one they made and who their partner was? #robots #creations #investigation #confidence #partners #4yearoldkinder #governmentfunded #milestones
