23.01.2022 Based on children's interests and their observations of construction worker onsite redeveloping our outdoor play spaces, we have started a construction project inside to extend children's learning. In our imaginative construction activity, children have created a cooperative jungle with animals in it together through their sustained shared thinking. It provides an opportunity for the children to practice and develop their language and social skills by engaging with peers and educators. Children also enhance their problem solving and self-help skills while experimenting their own strategies in the their imaginative play.

18.01.2022 Create A Tree Our educators facilitated an amazing activity of making tree with sustainable resources. Juniors were using Cardboard boxes, some natural leaves and glues to make the craft work. Through this experience, children are getting familiar with the sustainable materials, enhancing knowledge about natural resources and developing fine motor skills.

12.01.2022 We are not too young to learn!!!!!! Through open ended easel painting, our nursery children have experimented and explored different concepts. This sensory play fosters creativity to explore the intricate art of mixing colors and exposer to textural resources. It also provides children with the opportunity to problem solve, make mistakes, build connections and create within a secure environment.

11.01.2022 Counting exercise Our Juniors participated in this hands on activity of counting the dots with the number of apples. During this experience the children are developing on their cognitive and numeracy skills. Counting activities help children to build fine motor skills needed for functional tasks such as handwriting, building and self help skills whilst also developing on their Mathematics skills such as counting, subtracting, adding and solving.

10.01.2022 Reconciliation week Our Preschoolers are engaged in a group time to learn about the significance of National Reconciliation week. They looked into the different flags that all represent the Australian people. Children are learning about the different meaning behind each colour of the Aboriginal flag and re-enacted using loose parts! This experience was to shed some light on the importance of acknowledging and respecting the Aboriginal people as first peoples of Australia.
