20.01.2022 This is what happens when you give children the opportunity to lead their own play and inquiry based learning. We added an overhead projector to our construction area and as you can see the imagination was set free. The children worked together experimenting and investigating how to get the shadows to show up on the wall using blocks and other loose parts.

15.01.2022 Physical activities have so many benefits for children. Along with improving their sense of balance and posture, each time they jump onto the moving mat of the trampoline, a child must readjust their balance and be aware of their center of gravity. This helps improve their spatial awareness or knowing where their body is during movement.

14.01.2022 Look at these lovely ideas and how this art is presented even using the recycled items they used to create the painting. I love it! Such a respectful way to present children’s work and including photos

04.01.2022 Tomorrow Friday 14th we will be raising awareness of the affects of bullying buy supporting Dolly’s Dream. Dolly’s Dream was created by Tick and Kate Everett following the shattering loss of their 14-year-old daughter, Dolly, to suicide, after ongoing bullying. Tick and Kate’s goal is to prevent other families walking this road. Their goal is to change cultures and behaviours to prevent bullying, by increasing understanding of the impact of bullying, anxiety, depression, and youth suicide and by providing support to parents. Dolly’s Dream is proudly brought to you by the Alannah & Madeline Foundation. We hope you can help us by wearing blue tomorrow.
