25.01.2022 Last week we celebrated NAIDOC Week, we celebrated the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in our community. Our rooms looked at the different colours of the Aboriginal flag, discussing their meaning. They also continued on with many embedded practices including the Acknowledgement to Country, recognising the land of the Quandamooka people and listening to traditional music. Our Kindergarten children have continued on with their Indigenous learning project. Learning about Traditional Aboriginal Art, the Aboriginal and Torre Strait Islander flags and Customs of the traditional people and the land.

21.01.2022 Our family bbq on Saturday was a huge success with so many families taking the opportunity to get to know each other and their children. 20.01.2022 Today the Kindergarten children went on an excursion to Tingalpa State School. There they joined in Under 8's day celebrations. The children had lots of fun participating in the different activities, there was playdough, dancing, story time, obstacle courses, collage, wand making and much more.

The children, families and staff laughed lots watching Miss Sarah & Miss Sam sink.
