13.01.2022 The Fete committee is trying to track down some items that were produced when the school was opened. The first is a video called "The Milgate Saga", and the second is a book which was produced about the building of the school. If you know about , or have either of these items, can you please contact the school so that we can arrange for them to be copied for future reference. 05.01.2022 7 weeks to go! There will be a range of food stalls at the fete, with everything from our renowned sausage sizzle, pizza, donuts, fairy floss, cupcakes and ice creams (heres hoping for the right weather to enjoy an ice-cream!) There will also be a cafe run by the wonderful local Grainstore Bakery, which will have tea, coffee, pies, sandwiches and sausage rolls! Dont forget to bring your tastebuds!

This fortnight it is time to scour through your present collection for items which could be used as Prizes and Party Favours - those things which you have safely stored in a cupboard somewhere, waiting for the right event! Send your unused presents in so that the kids can add to their class tally. The class with the most points will win a voucher for every child to use at Milfete!

04.01.2022 Calling all past students (or as we like to call them, STARS!) Our current students (Present Stars) and 2013 Prep students (Future Stars) are currently completing a Star profile page which will be prominently featured at the fete. We would love our Past Stars (anyone that has attended Milgate over the last 30 years) to complete a Star Profile and send it back to [email protected] - snail mail or a personal drop off also works! 02.01.2022 We are asking every Milgate family to donate ONE bag of wrapped lollies. Go mad in the confectionery aisle of the supermarket, and find lollies like these: Fantales, Minties, Redskins, Sherbet Bombs, Columbines, toffees, Freddo Frogs, Sherbies and Chupa Chups!
