A year ago, I met these two lovelies as they were struggling with a complicated breastfeeding & early parenting journey...Suffice to say, they are totally rocking it. Still breastfeeding & loving it. Astrid is so clever, she is saying lots of words, exploring her world around her & engaging lots. She has lots of energy & Sam clearly loves being a mum. 07.01.2022 TALKING GOAL POSTS It’s ok to change your goalposts Be flexible It’s ok to aim high, but when it comes to babies, aiming too high can be impossible to reach & lead to disappointment. A gorgeous mama I have been working with, has been struggling for 2 months to exclusively breastfeed her beautiful baby.... I always say never say never because little babes are so unpredictable. You know what? They are having one beautiful breastfeed before bed & bubba is thriving on breastmilk alone. I’m so elated he is starting to smile a lot more now. I’m so proud of all the hard work they keep putting into this & am equally amazed that they continue to work so hard at it. Mamas amaze me so much - I’m just constantly astounded about the driving forces that love brings mamas to.
