23.01.2022 Hot night in at Melbourne Fringe. Never ever would I have thought I would be watching a fringe show from my kitchen bench but heck it’s 2020 so I’m ready for anything. Bring it on. #melbourne #melbournefringe #ottoandastrid

22.01.2022 Here or NYC there are still so many unknowns...

21.01.2022 relatable content.

21.01.2022 With no shows (or very little shows going on), how do you continue to market yourself or your artists (as a producer) to keep engaging with your audiences? If you are not producing any shows in the performing arts and for those of us in Victoria (who the hell knows WHEN we can even do that) you still need to keep engaging with your audience, and you can make it super fun too. There are so many ways to do this; you need to work out what works for you. Here are some examples. ...* Create daily Instagram stories or reels * Reignite your social media pages * Create a TikTok channel * Start an email newsletter * Restart or start a podcast * Create a mini online video series Sometimes you need some inspiration or a good kick up the bum to get you started. Even though you are not producing or performing shows as much as you normally would be, don't lose connection with your audience. Use this time to stay connected and then when you do finally have a show on sale, it will make selling tickets just that bit easier. If you need help with this or a strategy good news for you! We are running a little competition to win a 90-minute session with MILKE to work through a social media engagement strategy sessions - valued at $300! If you want to be in the running, all you need to do is fill out the survey below. Entries close Friday 16 October. ENTER HERE: https://bit.ly/3lC7xDh

20.01.2022 We could see this potentially coming - what do you think?

18.01.2022 This is the Melbourne I miss. Night time Melbourne

18.01.2022 This is great. Nice one Laurie Black An ode to Edinburgh and what it looks like right now in August 2020. We miss Edinburgh. Hopefully, see you in 2021! https://www.youtube.com/watch

16.01.2022 Sure, we have been in lockdown, but that doesn't mean there hasn't been lots of work and meetings behinds the scenes. We have been plotting away and working with this legend Selina Jenkins Music. We are stoked to get this one programmed at the Adelaide Cabaret Festival and hand-picked up Alan Cummings no less! Watch out for more tour news! #AdCabFest #AdelaideFestCent https://www.adelaidecabaretfestival.com.au//selina-jenki/

16.01.2022 We have had the pleasure and delight of working with these three super talented and very funny legends for the past few years and will continue to do so. We LOVE The Travelling Sisters and they have produced this hilarious online series MEET THE MULLETS. Sooooo great. You should check it out too! Watch all five episodes here. https://www.youtube.com/playlist

15.01.2022 Do YOU want to upskill in producing...yeah even during a pandemic? We know were in "unprecedented" times within our industry but here's the thing, we need independent producers NOW more than ever as we are "nimble" and can "pivot" and "navigate" our way through this. We need to be able to work with artists to "find a road forward". (did we get all in the buzz words??) Did you know we run an online six-week course doing just that? It's called the Producer Bootcamp and we have had over 80 ahhhmaaazing independent producers already go through the course. If you would like to find out more, drop us a DM here on our page and we will send you all the details.

14.01.2022 OMG YEEEES!! Because you can't leave performers inside for this long without a stage or an audience. Nice to see one-third of The Travelling Sisters in this group. represent! https://www.theage.com.au//it-s-grassroots-theatre-from-fo

13.01.2022 Oh yes, we hear you! All we want to do is be allowed to open again. That’s all we want!

12.01.2022 2020. Legit. Stay strong friends.

10.01.2022 "So what happens when the performances pause, seasons are suspended, and stages go dark? We look at the toll the shutdown is taking through data (jobs vanished, revenues gone), visuals (picturing the season that isn’t) and personal stories (22 arts workers who should have been working this weekend, and what they’re doing instead). One weekend, lost, but also, so much more" https://www.nytimes.com///new-york-fall-arts-economy.html

09.01.2022 THIS! Can we get this made into a real ad?

09.01.2022 Can't wait for this! Sign up to the watch party! The Travelling Sisters. whoop whoop!

06.01.2022 This is based on the UK theatres reopening. What do you think? ://www.theguardian.com/stage/2020/sep/20/what-to-expect-at-a-socially-distanced-night-at-the-theatre?fbclid=IwAR0aEep1IiiKeP2ug-Dl15qqoxUh__VqWpkKAU2DII4HX5zvpcgr5r_BbNc

06.01.2022 Just saying... Also, what's a "planner"? nothing we've used this year.

05.01.2022 In Melbourne, we are in a completely different stage (due to COVID) and haven't even had the chance of doing any theatre, even at a limited capacity. We are still not clear to when this can happen. This is a huge impact and with Jobkeeper being cut back this week, it's going have a huge ripple effect across our industry.

05.01.2022 We you Melbourne. https://www.theage.com.au//melbourne-lockdown-slams-brakes

01.01.2022 Ahh yep, we’ve all been there. At this stage I would take 20% instead of nothing.
