24.01.2022 ‘The Gumnut Dreamers’ was an etching that I first created as a commission for a wedding. This design was the catalyst for working with flowering gums and later many Australian plants. I am very grateful to my commissions because they often inspire something new and unpredictable. This etching is currently being exhibited at @milkfactorygallery in Bowral, NSW. It is a limited edition etching with hand painted elements using gouache, acrylics, water colours and gold leaf pigment.

01.01.2022 What do you call a group of eight paintings that make up one landscape? A sensational work of art by Mittagong based artist Justin Pearson . Bowral Quarry is located on Mt. Gibraltar in the heart of Bowral - the quarry commenced operations in 1885 extracting trachyte stone which was used for the piers on the Hawkesbury railway bridge as well as Challis House in Martin Place Sydney, ANZAC Memorial in Hyde Park and the columns in the Queen Victoria building. Trachyte is t...he commemorative stone for Federation and is found in many public and private buildings in Australia and internationally. These eight paintings depict the quarry as a whole as it stands today and are available in sections of three, two and three as shown or as a complete set of eight panels.
