25.01.2022 Ten years ago I was celebrating my 3rd Mother’s Day as a Mum and this was it. In hospital with my 3 day old twins with the crazy two year old visiting (with bruise on his forehead to boot ). Looking back on moments like this I’m not quite sure how we survived but we did! It’s my twins tenth birthday tomorrow. What a ride this motherhood journey is! Hope everyone has had a beautiful day
24.01.2022 A saw a post last night asking what you wish you would have taken in your hospital bag. This pic is the day after my first birth with my now 12 year old son. Gosh I remember everything about that exact moment. No one can prepare you for that right there! That top was a target breastfeeding tank. New naive mum Jodi thought it’s flimsy inbuilt crop would be fine. How wrong I was. My boobs were rock hard soccer balls and they literally hurt when I moved. I waddled out of hospital with my swollen stitched up bits feeling like they were going to drop out out and with my arms around my chest holding my veined, hot and swollen newly acquired breasts Ahh motherhood is so beautiful right?! What’s your hospital bag essential? Mine is obviously a really supportive breastfeeding bra!

22.01.2022 Well no one can ever accuse me of over posting on social media BUT I thought this was an important note to pass on from Australia Post. Long story short. We are in Brisbane and this announcement is saying they may keep parcels in sending state for 3 days BEFORE it starts its journey. We only send EXPRESS and it is prioritised so hopefully minimal disruptions but be prepared for some delays, especially with Fathers Day coming up. Love and boobie milk ya’ll...

18.01.2022 We talk about oxytocin alllll the time in relation to labour and breastfeeding, it’s known as the ‘love hormone’ and triggers let downs in breastfeeding, but it’s not our only happy hormone. These four are often referred to as our quartet of happiness and many things can trigger these neurotransmitters and their complex relationship. The point? Focus on balance and some self care, not only do you deserve it but it’s good for your health and maintaining balance. Five minutes outside in the sunlight deep breathing and stretching can change your perspective. And then have a cookie and some chocolate because the table says so, and balance righttttt??!!
