People are seeing our social posts of @100_moons gorgeous FLUFFTOWN mohair jumpers and contacting us to purchase them. We love this, Thankyou! ... While we aren’t going to list these to sell online until after the weekend, we are taking sales & if you do see one you love - feel free to DM us. Each item has at least 25 hours of knitting work and $200+ with of premium mohair & hand dyed yarns - held double and sometimes triple stranded in the fabric. Prices range between $400-$500 for a beautifully unique wearable piece of art! 21.01.2022 Most evenings, after our yarn shop closes for the day, I’m busy behind the scenes writing knitting patterns like this one ... it’s a good 3-6 month process to get an idea out of my head, made into a garment and then to also have a pattern available. . . I made this top about a month ago >>> I hope to have the draft pattern ready in a week or two. Then I will engage people to test knitter across each size. This takes another 2-4 weeks. Then I will collate the test knitter...s information and pictures. I will also do a photo shoot. Then re-write the final copy for the pattern, adjust yarn quantities and sizes etc. Next I will do the graphic design for the PDF layout, then head off the the printers to get lovely colour copies printed. I will also spend a few hours uploading it to the online knitters pattern platform @hi.ravelry (& soon to our very own website!). So yes it’s a long process . . But I am so excited to bring this pattern to life so I can share it with our customers ~ because the minute I finished knitting it and put it on, I knew it was a beauty! This top is now by far one of my favourites to wear as it’s so lovey and soft I made it on big 10mm needles with gorgeous 8ply organic #fibranaturacottonwood held double. The yarn + needle size combo creates a super comfy fabric that drapes perfectly and is cool to wear as a staple summer tank top . . I think I’ve found my Christmas holiday knitting project (well the hat anyway - as I only have 10 days off!)... 09.01.2022 Done #boxyladytop I used the incredibly soft & squishy #alpachinomerino yarn in the bubblegum pink colourway by @woolandthegang & pattern was purchased online from @loopymango... It knitted up so fast on 12.75mm needles with this bulky weight yarn. Definitely an adventurous beginner level friendly pattern It took me around 6.5 hours of knitting time.
