14.01.2022 2020 - business update . As another year is upon us - we reflect on the last and think about the possibilities and the changes we wish to make in the new year. . For as long as I’ve had my business I’ve never found a balance, never, in all 10 years. Every year I set intentions to figure out how to give my clients more but I’ve never been satisfied with my full services from start to finish. I feel I’ve never been able to fully provide all the things it takes to run a fully ...successful business without feeling like I’m failing in one aspect whilst being great at others. I want to improve my business but also improve the balance in my life. . So with all that said, it’s time for me to make changes to find balance... these are the changes I’ve decided to make this year to achieve that. . 2020- my bookings are now closed for all session types. I’ll be focusing solely on my currently booked wedding clients. . * I will not be taking on any more bookings including family shoots, portraits etc. * my focus will remain with my current wedding clients, shooting their weddings and engagement shoots. . Please note! If you have messaged me to inquire about a date in 2020 (family, grads etc) but we haven’t booked a date yet, I will still book these dates for you, where possible. I’ll be in contact with these clients to book the last of these sessions. . 2021 - I will not be taking on any bookings. I may decide at the end of this year when and if I’ll be back in 2021 and if so, it will be at the end of the year as I take a much needed break. . It’s been a wild ride for so long and I’m so grateful for all the wonderful clients I’ve worked with over the years and all the people I’ve met through countless weddings. I’m so excited to finally settle down a little and cruise through life at a more chilled pace whilst improving my time to ensure I’m giving my clients the best. Bring on 2020! First of all - here’s a pic of me in Tasmania sipping on the lifeline I’m currently living off - seemingly chilled in this pic, but it’s definitely not the current case. Second of all - I’m now brunette. ... Thirdly - number two has nothing to do with my current stress levels and I didn’t have a Britney moment (again). However, most important of all (if you’re still reading). I’ve stopped by to update you all on my current sitcho - coming off wedding season I’ve got a zillion weddings to edit and somehow I thought it would be a good idea to commit and take on two more casual jobs (more on that later) so I’m currently working three jobs - emails are a little slower (sorry if you’re emails are buzzing at 6am, that’s me replying at any chance I get) however! I’ll get to them, I promise! 2019 WEDDINGS - a friendly reminder it may take up to 12 weeks to get your wedding gallery back (the industry standard, sorry guys ) 2019 - I’m close to closing my bookings! 02.01.2022 Back in town and straight into editing after an amazing time in Tasmania shooting the gorgeous wedding of Em and Dan I’ve just finished my 6th weekend of the season with 6 more weeks to go! Posting on socials has been 100% put on the back burner (and let’s face it, it always has) I prioritise shooting, delivering wedding previews, emailing and organising with my clients, week after week, and then move on to the next wedding, putting my time into my next clients whilst edit...ing the weddings just gone. I have lots of amazing clients and weddings to post in the coming weeks and I cannot wait to share gorgeous images and moments with you from the people who I’ve spent the last months with. 02.01.2022 I was really hoping the news we received tonight wasn’t going to happen but I guess it was a matter of time. Weddings are now limited to 5 people. The couple, the celebrant and two witnesses. To my beautiful 2020 couples, as much as we tried to find an alternative and stay positive, we really need to start looking at 2021 dates. With the added heartbreak of the closure of beauty services as well, there are really not many vendors left who you will be able to have on your da...y to make it as perfect as you have dreamt let’s figure out how we can make everything possible again, even if we have to wait a little longer! 01.01.2022 When your bestie has talked about this day for about 5 years with you, so you knew how perfect she wanted it, how intimate she wanted it for just her and her husband. The planning, the tears, the anxiety, for so so long. But on the day she just let it all go and let it be what it was going to be and it was nothing short of amazing.
