19.01.2022 Still cute. - A few things I learnt this week blowing the tendons in my ankle. - Your body will send you signals you need to chill the f out & if you don’t, it will force you too.... - I have been reminded again, how nutrition really is the basis of body comp and regardless of training, you have the control over your body in diet alone. - Steps are not necessary to obtain maintenance or fat loss but I love hitting them and I can’t wait to walk again. I will never complain about walking somewhere ever again - It takes something to be taken from us to appreciate it. Simple things I never gave a second thought about like getting out of bed in the morning, driving, walking, grocery shopping, training, getting up stairs .. is now an issue. If not, impossible. - Training daily isn’t the b all and end all. Shock, I know, but sometimes, you might just gain the same outcome from training 4 days a week as opposed to 6-7. - All my goals all year have been about gaining this amount, losing that. Lifting a certain weight, running a certain distance. Now it is simply, getting back on my two feet and being able to walk. Thats pulled me right back to earth that’s for sure. - I know this sounds cliche but life as you know it can change in a split second. One day you can be doing you, complaining about not being able to use the machine at the gym you want.. the next.. you can’t get out of bed on your own let alone drive to the gym. Appreciate what you have.. I know I am 2019 the year of lessons and tests for me. - Wearing: RPA crutches & moon boot- Use my code Millauradickhead for 20% off on your next purchase. See more

15.01.2022 Why your goals need consequences & rewards. - Most of the time, the reason you don’t achieve your goals is because the ‘consequence’ if you don’t, is no more then ‘ohwell, I’ll try again next year’. Consequences might sound harsh but this is a big one for me and I truly believe we need more of it. As are Dates. It sets your goal in stone with an actual countdown to drive you towards it! We need both with every goal, Not just with our bodies but within every aspect of our life.... - The reason most of the goals you set you don't achieve your fitness goals is because there is not a big enough consequence tied to it. How do you think I get in shape for a show ? Not because I find it easier than you, it's because if I am not in shape by that particular date, that's a blow to my brand and reputation! - I do understand not everyone’s priority or career is in the fitness industry, and It doesn't have to be the stage. You Just need to figure out a consequence or reward that is relevant to YOU if you achieve that goal. Booking a photo shoot is always a good one. Maybe you & your partner agree that if you achieve the goal, you’re booking a weekend away. Maybe, your money driven..Put a certain amount away or get your partner/ friend to keep it or they (double it;)) if you achieve the goal at that date. whatever it is, make it fun. Make it rewarding and a reason to push for. - Something that is worth fighting for and turning up to the gym on the days you don't feel like it. That way, you create a healthy amount of pressure on yourself to actually achieve these goals by a certain date! - Tie the goal to a date. A date to a consequence That consequence to a person for accountability reward See more

09.01.2022 PRE SQUAT TUTORIAL create a routine for BEFORE you get under the bar.

05.01.2022 BTS Shoot - I am not a model.. nor do I classify myself as one so let’s just get that straight first and foremost. However .. the career path & sport I have chosen means I’m in front of the camera pretty frequently. It means photo shoots, YouTube, advertisements, educating & creating content.. all.. the .. time. I think regardless of your industry, these days, being comfortable in front of a camera is beneficial for everyone and a skill we should all learn as technology & s...ocial media continues to advance. - You might not be be comfortable half naked behind the camera (as I’ve learnt to be) but I believe it’s important for any business or person to be able to at least speak on camera, take photos and/or video ect if you want your business to be seen and heard. - So here are a few tips I have learnt over the years of photo shoots. Again.. not a model just someone who has learnt a few things along the way. - 1. Pick outfits you are comfortable in. Lights, camera and directors are intimidating enough.. let alone a camel toe that refuses to let up or hair that you can’t get off your face. 2. Always think soft and long. What I mean by that is.. while you’re posing or flexing your body it’s very easy to tense your hands, feet and face at the same time. It’s important to remember to keep your hands relaxed, feet pointed & face soft. 3. The most awkward uncomfortable poses will be your best shots. Trust me. 4. If your short always stand on your toes. The aim is always to looks taller and leaner then you are. 5. Find your own ‘go to’ poses - I hate standing and find using a prop, chair or the floor much more natural. 6. Keep moving from pose to pose. They are shooting continuously.. sometimes your best shots will be moving from one to another. 7. Never let a photographer make you feel uncomfortable. Believe it or not.. your in charge. Although sometimes it may not seem like that, It’s your body, your rules. Never forget that. See more
