22.01.2022 MILLER'S CROSSING | Historical Images Ever wondered how Miller's Crossing came to be? Did you know a bridge over the railway linking Kent St/Miller St/Roberts Rd together had been talked about for years?... The link was touted as a major thoroughfare, designed to connect Manning Rd and Orrong Rd through Belmont to the Perth Airport with four lanes of traffic. However, the plans changed... If you remember the old plan, or the old houses that were resumed, share your memories (and photos) with us! In the meantime, take a look at this collection of historical images revealing the dramatic changes that took place over the last 70 years!

20.01.2022 Being hand delivered by the town... Whats your favourite option? Or do you have a better idea?

19.01.2022 NEW POP UP DATE | Saturday 16th June Thats this Saturday!

19.01.2022 SPECIAL GUESTS | Black Cockatoos Finding refuge today for some rest, food and frolicking were a flock of endangered species! Did you know, Millers Crossing where the cockatoos landed, forms part of an important green corridor situated right in the middle of the Town of Victoria Park?... The corridor links to regionally significant parks on Kent St/Miller St/ Roberts Rd and could become an amazing feature of the town if it were expanded by ensuring that land along its length was set aside for open space. Black Cockatoos are regularly found along this route. Its also the main north/south transport corridor through the town providing an important route for the people who live here. Millers Crossing is just one important piece of this green corridor. The best thing is its already here so we dont have to do anything... except make sure it stays #greencorridor #millerscrossing #option2

19.01.2022 MILLERS CROSSING | Your Plan Not the Councils If you could do anything in the world to this park, what would you do? Dont let the councils officers 5 options limit your imagination. What would your future park include? What would you change to make it more useful? How would people come to your park? Could they drive?... Be a planner right now in the comments :)

15.01.2022 What do you think of Cr Vernons comment on Your Thoughts portal? Would you pay $200 to keep Millers Crossing?

13.01.2022 If you want to save Miller's Crossing, then please consider making a submission expressing your disappointment that Miller's Crossing has been removed from the Public Open Space document. Be visionary Town of Victoria Park and "be open to new ideas" and buy Miller's Crossing and create a green corridor and linear park. #VicPark #SaveMillersCrossing

10.01.2022 POP UP EVENT | Cancelled due to bad weather Sunday 10th June Due to bad weather the Town of Victoria Park has had to cancel the pop up event at Miller's Crossing. The Town will advise of any reschedule.

09.01.2022 Sorry we haven't posted for awhile but this pretty much sums up the "consultation" on Miller's Crossing and the council current report on POS! We need everyone to make comment to purchase it as a strategic investment of land that is already acting as PUBLIC OPEN SPACE! #VicPark #SaveMillersCrossing

07.01.2022 POP UP EVENT | Coming to Millers Crossing

05.01.2022 The Town of Victoria Park is embarking on a Public Open Space (POS) Strategy and are looking for community input and involvement. Remember that Carlisle is currently identified as having critically inadequate provision of POS. All those who took the time to writing a submission on retaining Miller's Crossing for POS should take part in the POS strategy and inform the council that it must include a platform for retention and importantly acquisition of land for POS.... #KeepMillersCrossing
