25.01.2022 Rent Relief now!
21.01.2022 G’Day All! There is a growing crisis within the residential rental participants that needs to be immediately addressed by our NSW state governments and, indeed ...all state and territory governments. COVID-19 has brought rental and financial stress upon many of our citizens and the last thing we need is to add to the already dreadful situation that is ‘homelessness’ so, please sign the petition so as to bring this issue to the attention of our NSW government. 20.01.2022 This DLA Bill is very worrying for all Australians Please read If enacted we could see ADF or Foreign Forces at the discretion of ministers of the elected government, ‘not’ the parliament, marching into our work places during disputes and, also violating our rights to protest with impunity
19.01.2022 This interesting report below came from the Productivity Commission's annual Report on Government Services. We that have seen the impact by our own inept NSW St...ate Government in it's failure in their 'duty of care' towards our most vulnerable citizens! Theirs and past governments failure to maintain and repair our public housing that leads to removing tenants under threat of eviction and then selling off our public housing homes all because the government informs the public that the properties are unfit for habitation? Here's a solution to the problem of the escalating homelessness and the ever increasing waiting list, "fix what public housing you have and build more"! The report indicates that the finances are there within the government coffers! See more
18.01.2022 The memorial service farewell for Kerry Patterson held at St. Brigid's church, Millers Point was well attended with local and former residents as well as workers from the Barangaroo construction site. Father Michael (far left, top photo) conducted the service and there we're several speakers who paid tribute to a gentle and kind man. After the service a celebration of Kerry's life was held at both the Millers Point Community Centre and the Captain Cook Hotel in Kent St. Millers Point. Kerry's friends and the Millers Point Community would like to express their profound gratitude to all who sent condolences and tributes! He will be missed here at the Point. Photos curtsy of Michelle Heywood. Farewell Dear Frien
15.01.2022 Ahh! The gift that keeps on giving to governments and developers, "The Sale of Public Housing assets"
14.01.2022 Remember what happened to our working wharves in Sydney Harbour Some wharves your not allowed on because the wealthy have gated them, some wharves your not all...owed to do what generations of Sydneysiders have done, fish off, private security guards appear out of the shadows to BS you into believing it’s illegal You end up thinking that your no longer welcome on public wharves where you have worked, lived and played and, Central Barangaroo construction hasn’t been completed At the park end (north) of Barangaroo theatre are multiple rules and regulations that are to be obeyed or you will be removed by security that appear suddenly from behind trees ‘Don’t let this happen to Freo’ See more

06.01.2022 It’s about time that transport ministers heeded the advice of those workers who have been plying their trade on different transport modes for decades and not be... convinced by lobbyists that ferries, buses, trains and trams built overseas are superior to what can be manufactured in Australia The evidence speaks for itself See more
04.01.2022 G’Day All I though some may be interested in the history of Milton Terrace, Lower Fort St. Dawes Point given the opulence on show in last nights ABC program ‘Restoration Australia’ The renovations carried out at No19 was in one of 10 terrace houses.
03.01.2022 It’s very scary when the NSW LNP Government tells us, that replacing these iconic ferries are in the best interest of the paying public given their dreadful rec...ord with public transport Privatisation of buses with reduced services, trains that don’t fit stations and tunnels that are built overseas and trams that also built overseas not only fail to attract the expected passenger numbers but are also a huge cost blow-out for the NSW tax payers See more
