25.01.2022 Coming home today is a note about an exciting opportunity that we are running home next Friday 6th November. Our school will be taking part in the School Colour Explosion Run. This is a fundraising opportunity for our school and our students. There is no expectation to raise huge amounts of money, as this is a fun fitness afternoon. 12.01.2022 As you will be aware we have undertaken a review of the current sports uniform and have proceeded with prototyping a replacement moving forward for Millfield Public School. The link below is for a survey that is designed to gather any further feedback necessary before we potentially move into the next phase of this process and begin production of the uniform in the hope it will be available for early adoption in 2021. 12.01.2022 Just a reminder that tomorrow we are running our school fun run in the afternoon. We are all hopeful of a great sunny and dry day for a lot of fun to be had. 10.01.2022 What an awesome week we shared at Millfield! Excursions and extra curricular events are so much fun, it is safe to say we missed it. 04.01.2022 This week our school will be hosting the CBCA Book Week. All students today were able to visit our book fair and complete their wish list of items they would like to buy. Each class will have a specific day this week to be able to make purchases. See photos below of available items. Kindergarten on Tuesday 1/2 on Wednesday 2/3/4 and 4/5/6 on Thursday ... Friday will complete our celebration with our book parade! Infants and Primary will enjoy taking part in this activity which will be live streamed. Please don't forget to dress up, this years theme of Curious Creatures, Wild Minds. If you need any assistance with costumes, please contact us.

03.01.2022 Just a reminder that all monies raised for the colour fun run are due today, whether that be online or to the office. We have been assured that with today as the cut off date we will be able to receive the gifts in time before the end of the year. If you need a hand or assistance please reach out to us in the school office. Thank you so much for your support, this fundraiser has already been very successful and as you will see in this week's newsletter our students all had a fantastic time.

01.01.2022 Just a reminder that as a grand finish to our Book Week celebrations, we will hold a special assembly and book parade today. Unfortunately, due to COVID-19 we are unable to welcome extra guests into our school to see this assembly in person, so we will live stream this assembly and parade for all who are interested. Details about how to connect are listed below. The stream will be broken into two parts Infants (Kindergarten and 1/2) and Primary (2/3/4 and 4/5/6). As normal w...e encourage all of our students to come dressed in a book inspired costume. There will be some great prizes up for grabs for those who come up with the most inventive outfits.
