24.01.2022 A lot has been happening at Milford Acres lately. Two fantastic poly tunnels to extend our growing season and variety. Hoping to establish a CSA veggie box down the track. Just waiting to see how things work out for a season or two. The weather has been sublime. Doesn’t feel like winter is just around the corner.

24.01.2022 Lots of yummy gluten free treats for Easter at the @bermaguigrowersmarkets. Today 3-5! Fresh out of the oven. The smell

20.01.2022 We have 2 pairs of eagles in the back paddock. This is the sea eagles nest. We haven’t found the wedge tails nest as yet...... feel so lucky to have them.

20.01.2022 Great night at Millford Acres- Get Your Western On. Great group, food and music .

17.01.2022 A little update about what has been happening at Millford Acres.

16.01.2022 All set up for our returning guests and a few other pics of the fun had over Christmas.

16.01.2022 The first photo doesn’t really do the moment justice. The wedgies have been hunting from the yards of late and I’ve been spying on them with my new, fantastic binoculars. I didn’t need them today as I was only about 20 metres away!!!!! The other photos are Tony eating our very first bit honeycomb, the dam hill and mighty Tony doing the chicken poo hot mix spread. We are so behind and it has been bugging me but I’m resigned to it now. Things will happen when they happen.

16.01.2022 A few more photos of during the January that was. I can’t believe we are now facing another possible catastrophe!

15.01.2022 This is the 1st of January, when we were frantically prepping before the predicted catastrophic day the following Friday. It’s not actually a cloudy day it’s smoke. The garden looks so sad from the drought. Normally it’s bursting with colour and lush green.

14.01.2022 Green goodness pie with cheesy pastry using the abundance of chard, spinach, herbs and leeks from the garden at the moment. So yummy and nourishing. @millford.acres farm gate stall to open soon with lots of fresh and easy meal options.

14.01.2022 What autumn? The weather has been glorious but a little scary! We purchased another 17 black weaner steers from the store sale to add to our herd. They are super quiet and beautiful . Luckily we cut 47 bales of silage as it’s getting really dry and should get us through the winter or until the next rain event.

14.01.2022 When is the right time to talk about the next fire? Please contact me @MalcolmTurnbull... I'd like to meet and talk. (Donations to those who've lost their homes can be made via The Mayoral Fund. 100% of funds collected will be donated)

13.01.2022 It is exciting! Just bought some great second hand windows to finish the bunk room and the ‘bed in a shed’ room/ studio. We can’t wait to get our tool belts on.

13.01.2022 And after 200 mls of rain we are back to some semblance of normal.

10.01.2022 The new weaner steers and a couple of ringins. The season has been amazing! So much feed we really need another 20 head. Running about 70 at the moment.

09.01.2022 So excited to have @pipsplate doing her amazing cooking with fire workshop at Millford Acres on the October long weekend. More info to follow. PM me if you are interested.

09.01.2022 Just the big boys checking out our new sign. Not perfect as it was designed whilst in the Ute bouncing around but it’s now up!

08.01.2022 Scouting out the back paddock for suitable cabin sites. Stay tuned.....!

07.01.2022 A wonderful weekend spent at Millford Acres. Big sleep-ins, slow starts, baking, a quick swim in the ocean and of course the mookies.

06.01.2022 What a special day and an absolute pleasure to host @davey_rogers birthday event at @millford.acres and meet the beautiful @one.gener8ion. More images to follow.

05.01.2022 Definitely worth the trip down the hill.

04.01.2022 Everything is growing so well. I can’t wait to harvest the wombok cabbage. The leeks are really motoring now and the red cabbage is just beautiful. The kohlrabi going gangbusters and the broccoli is sublime. We’ve eaten some of the beetroot and it delicious.

04.01.2022 Not quite finished yet but our middle house is also available for holiday rental. It is a great 3 bedroom house with 2 living spaces. Sleeps 8. Get a group together and book both houses and tents for a special birthday or event!

02.01.2022 All looking tip top!

02.01.2022 Everything growing so well in the poly tunnel.

01.01.2022 A great couple of days of learning. Very dry - was really shocked at just how little soil moisture there is. The dams and creek have really dropped. Not a great feeling coming into summer. The bird life was just magical!
