25.01.2022 Soto Uke Because of the situation we are in at the moment many students are staying away. So just to help them I thought to put up some video,s showing the basi...c techniques, I will update the video once a fortnight. If there is anything else let me know, and if I have time I will reply. A big thank you or should I say Osu to Peter Björklund at TRE14 who filmed and did the editing.

18.01.2022 Osu Everyone, Great News!! We are back to training in the dojo from Monday 23rd November, with only minor changes to previous restrictions (with density restrictions of 1 person per 4 square meters). This should pose no problem other than possibly Wednesday night with the Junior class, if it appears we will exceed this limit, I will ask parents to watch their children from the separate foyer area.... Osu Ian
17.01.2022 It’s been a long difficult year, but we managed to squeeze in an under 16 intermediate/junior grading Well done to Allendale & Millicent students today!!
17.01.2022 Osu everyone, With the cooler weather setting in, please bring a jacket or jumper to wear after training. Now we are back training with limited restrictions the last thing we want is a bad run of colds&flu’s
15.01.2022 Well done to this team at today’s Advanced grading. Huge amount of spirit with such a hot day (when you can fog up a mirror on a 31degree day that’s Kyokushin training)
15.01.2022 Sorry for the short notice and of course during these stressful times If anyone wants to order an AJKU Hoodie can you let me know ASAP OSU
14.01.2022 This is so true, pushing yourself to train when you don’t feel like it you develop the ability to stand strong when facing adversity. Waiting until you are fitter or not so tired just makes you softer. Injuries are another matter, but I still recommend attending training - let you instructors know your limitations and injury and train so as not to aggravate the injury. If you can’t train at all drop in just to keep in contact
14.01.2022 Osu, in recent months I spoke and posted about the challenges of training by ourselves so at the start to set an example I set my own goal to train for 100 day...s in a row. Today was day 100, goal achieved. I will post some statistics of that training at a later time. I hope all are well and we meet again soon!! Osu See more
13.01.2022 Please Note there will be no Junior or Senior training for the next week at Millicent due to the increase in Covid restrictions this week. I am looking into alternatives that may allow us to continue to train safely while these restrictions are in place, and will keep everyone informed what is happening as we go forward.
13.01.2022 Warmer night tonight than we are used to, please make sure you bring a drink tonight Osu
12.01.2022 Reminder to all students and visitors to training: To stay home if suffering even the mildest cold or flu symptoms or just feeling unwell. Everyone has done a great job with hygiene in the dojo and staying home if unwell, lets not get complacent!!... Osu

10.01.2022 A good example of Tai kyoku ichi Look closely there is more in this video than just a sequence of moves, focus on what the body is doing, especially the shoulders vs foot movement vs arm movement. If you are not sure what I am pointing out ask......
09.01.2022 Osu everyone, It looks like we might get back to training earlier than expected. I will keep an eye on the changes and let everyone know - I suspect we will be able to train in some form on Monday

I am looking forward to whatever challenges 2021 has for us, we have proven we can get through the tough times this year has given us, let’s take that strength and make 2021 a fantastic year!!
