24.01.2022 Everyone telling everyone what to do is clearly not working effectively.. "Stop this" "Focus on that"... "Dont do this" "Start doing that" With all the advice and directions.. its easy to freeze and do NOTHING.. Thats kind of been me this past week, reading a heap and not doing much about it. In fact, unsure even where to start? Maybe, if we all spoke less and did more, our actions would create the momentum we are hoping to achieve? Leadership is not about what you say, its about what you do.. Children learn more by watching how you behave and show up rather than by what you tell them.. Its no different to us Adults. The reminder for me is to stop listening to everything and everyone and start listening to myself. Decide that Im the leader I want to see In the world. Are you standing still, talking or walking?

There is so much going on at any given time... Multiple dynamics.. Here are some of the dynamics and roles that play out.. The Do Gooders - You know the teachers pets, they want to get recognition for calling stuff out or being right and leverage other peoples failures to get ahead The Bullies, Who also love the attention but in a very different way.. they comment frequently and critize or put other people down (esp those further ahead than them) The Pretenders - The ones who portray to be more than what they are.. You know the ones who puff their chest and float the truth.. The Reserved Ones - Shy ones who sit back watching everyone.. waiting for an invite to join which comes every so often but they tend to miss out The Peacmakers - Always diffusing things, being able to hold space for both parties and bringing harmony to the chaos.. 14.01.2022 3 Life Lessons having children has taught & reminded me about life and business Mind you there's a ton more lessons and I'd love for you to share it in the comments section below Even if you don't have kids, this could be super helpful for you ... Regardless we were ALL were kids once upon a time I believe there's a lot we can learn from our childhood that we can re introduce into our lives today that would make living so much more enjoyable. [It may not sound directly related to business and sales.. but it has been a pivotal point in not only my life but my clients lives esp the ones who are doing 6 and 7 figures in sales] 1) Children are constantly present and in the moment.. they live and breathe each moment like its their last. They can't tell the difference between success and failure everything is magical in their world. As we get older what we have can become the metric for what we have achieved, rather than who we are. 2) They display constant love and affection and they wear their hearts on their sleeves. You know exactly how they are feeling which makes it easy(sometimes) to communicate and help them either regulate emotionally or understand how to best support them. They are also not afraid to tell you how they are really feeling.. We seemed to have lost that genuine expression as we get older.. 3) They day dream and imagine constantly and are not afraid to express it out loud. This enables them to really manifest a world with no boundaries, a world full of possibilities It enables them to tap into their genius zone daily until it kinda gets beaten out of them and we stop it.. Then we come back to 'reality' The Point of all this.?? Maybe if your stuck its time to go back to where it all started? You know, that genius in you that was always being expressed in many magical ways as a kid.. Go back to not caring about what other people think of you.. Go back to not validating others opinions of you.. And get back to expressing what you really want from YOUR Life.. 13.01.2022 [Most Coaches & Consultants are BROKE] I'll never forget this message.. When I was struggling mentally and my business was suffering a mentor of mine said to me..... "Fabien, stop putting other peoples fires out and start focusing on putting your own fires out first" I mean, It's always easier helping someone else with their 'sh#t' then it is working on our own right? How much can you relate to this? As coaches & consultants, we are in the game of fixing other peoples problems and it's super easy to fall into this trap. Working on other peoples stuff and ignoring our own is a common disease many of us have! We are also in the business of 'proving' to our audience we are capable of getting them results. Or Maybe we are just trying to prove to ourself that we are capable and worthy of running a business? (hmmm, more on worthiness in another video) The biggest challenge I see when service providers come to me for sales coaching is: They end up feeding (fixing) the prospect on the sales call, just to prove their skills & ability. It's a common thing to do esp when you get challenged with objections around your street credibility. THE FOCUS: Is really how can you demonstrate skills and ability without fixing their main problem? THE KEY: Is to articulate their problems better than them, It's to take surface problems they bring to the call and show them how there is underlying issues causing the problem. And this requires training, practice and some finesse on how you structure your words. When you can take the prospect down to the bottom of the iceberg and show them what's moving it then you have every right to charge premium prices and be seen as the real expert in your field. The catch is while your down their not to help them solve it because they will resurface to the top and take off on the speed boat leaving you floating in the ice-cold waters on your own.

12.01.2022 [CODE RED] OR ? Its become clear the landscape of many businesses will be and have been disrupted due to Covid-19. Whether your falling into the hysteria or not, is perhaps, not as important as the decisions you have made previously and currently about the direction of your business or career.... This is a timely reminder that nothing is forever and as business owners/leaders, if we are not preparing for these events then we will be left behind. Talking about what may or may not occur is useless without deciding and acting on a plan to move forwards. What steps have you taken for this situation we find ourselves in to future proof your family & business? For us, thankfully weve created an online education portal that can help business owners and sales teams adapt in the current environment and still remain some what profitable through the economic shit storm we see. Truth be told, we have also suffered financial losses in the corporate space. Having lost some big clients as they have also lost major contracts.. the true ripple effect is yet to be determined. After having had over 1000 sales conversations with business owners, coaches, consultants and sales leaders.. There is ONE THING I have seen and heard time and time again.. One thought is certainly healthier than the other... Mind you, they are simply thoughts or beliefs around the current climate and what meaning we bring to the situation. But gee, thoughts do carry some heavyweights with them, dont they? Many Industries are being wiped out, Other industries are becoming less and less relevant Many business models are needing swift adaption to the current climate. I think during this time of heightened uncertainty we can learn so much about ourselves a.nd each other. Its moment like these where we have the opportunity to redefine ourselves or even reinvent ourselves. For instance; - Are you not happy with how you been showing up in life? Well here is a chance to change that and instil or reshape a new character you are proud of. - Unhappy with your career or business? Well here is the chance for you to pivot into what you do enjoy doing and that way you can wake up happy and fulfilled. -Relationship with a partner not that healthy? Well here is the chance to spend time working on it to get closer together or work out a healthy separation. - Body not in shape? Well plenty of time now to ensure you are doing what you can to move and stay fit. - Mindset is negative and unhealthy? Well now is the time you can learn some new skills, pick up that book, enrol into a personal development course and begin weeding that garden of the mind. I guess you get my point.. sitting on our butts aint going to help us... But doing the same things as before expecting different results is what Einstein famously called the definition of insanity. 07.01.2022 When we dont empty out the bins regularly, eventually the smell becomes unbearable, right? Ever walked out the back of a laneway in a major city? Its usually where all the bins hide. ... Its not a pleasant smell, certainly not where you want to be spending most of your time. I think the same goes for when we dont regularly check in on ourselves and empty our own trash. Eventually, our smell becomes unbearable. Whats worse is if were not aware enough of ourselves then we cant even smell how bad it is.. And for those of you that may say well I dont smell.. Dont be fooled, just because you cant smell it, it doesnt mean the smell aint there! One thing is for sure, I know our prospects and peers can smell it a mile away. Everything we post, say & do gets assessed through our natural human bullshit detector. We all have one, some have fined tuned theres more than others. Some of us have them turned off completely Truth be told, Mine was terrible for a LOOONG period of time.(and still is sometimes) Calling out my own BS was crucial to my own development The problem is, Its easy to float the truth of where youre at. Sometimes the bigger you get then the bigger the smell can be.. Maybe this video is just what you needed to hear right now. P.s Its important to know that when you do call yourself out, do it in a healthy way and dont beat yourself up about it. 05.01.2022 Who helped you get started on your journey? For me, there was a defining moment when I was about 4 years of age.. A lesson taught to me that enabled me to build a certain character for hard work.... Which is paying dividends as our business has tripled this past quarter I think its always important to give credit where credit is due.. As the saying goes... "Be kind to those you climb above on the ladder, as when you fall, you want those just below you to stop you from hitting the floor" I think many people dont acknowledge those that have helped them get to where they are. Pretty common right now, so here was my reply and something that you can implement for your business My Response: Id bring it up before they mention it.. Either in a warm-up video prior to call or at the very beginning of the sales call. I use a couple frames called the that we teach in our profitable sales system program.. The CATEGORY and PERMISSION frame, Sounds like this.. I.e Before we go ahead John, Id like to understand where your mindset has been at these past few weeks/months? This will help me know if I can help you or not and if we can then we can at least put the right plan in place for you to get results moving forward. It doesnt matter where its been, what matters is where its at after this call. Is that ok? Do I have your permission to challenge any thinking of yours that I think maybe jeopardising your results? Great! John, how open to change are you? Esp If at the end of this call you realize your current thinking patterns have been preventing you from growth? Great! Ok, so where have you been sitting recently with your mindset - 1) Have you been in the Frozen mindset mode?
