25.01.2022 On Tuesday we hosted a team of blokes from Millmerran Power for their Christmas break up. For most of them this was their first time holding a pistol. Some great scores, some not so great. But a blast was had by all.

24.01.2022 Biggest turnout in years at the annual M&DSC Christmas shoot. Tony taking out the medley shoot in a shootout with Matt, Dean and Andrew. New member Paulette taking the women's category. Dusting off a huge Christmas meal now with glazed ham, smoked brisket and all the trimmings. From all of us at M&DSC merry Christmas.

21.01.2022 Big turn out today for centerfire precision pistol. Feeling a bit lonely down at rimfire rifle though. Rapid fire pistol and shotgun on this afternoon. Couldn't have asked for a better day for it.

11.01.2022 Just a friendly reminder for all club members and any visiting shooters. We have seen 3 snake skins around the shooting sheds in the last week. Please keep en eye out and be vigilant when your shooting. Especially if club members are there on their own.

11.01.2022 Great day at the Millmerran v Warwick annual interclub shoot held at our club. Total scores for the day Warwick 4304, Millmerran 4413. Meaning we took the overall off Warwick for the first time in 4 years. Shoot winners were Standard match: Peter 528 Centerfire: Janelle 520 Sports: Mark 511

In the coming weeks with the ever changing scenario and government restrictions we will keep you all posted through the page here as more information comes to light. 06.01.2022 A good few weekends at M&DSC. Rifle and pistol shooters have been out in fine form. This coming weekend 2nd June, is the 300m centerfire rifle match in the morning with shotgun before lunch. For the pistol shooters centerfire/sports pistol in the morning and rapid fire in the afternoon.

06.01.2022 Hi all, It is with pleasure that I can announce that the club is now re open to visiting shooters. there has been a number of people enquire about this over the last little while however with restrictions easing we can get somewhat back to normal. A few things to remember if your coming for a visit. Please message us on the page here first so we can make sure someone will be there to meet you. Visiting shooters will need to fill in a form 33 and will need photo ID... A ten dollar range fee applies to all visiting shooters Please DON'T come if you are feeling sick or have been to and of the QLD government designated covid 19 hotspots. Social distancing to be adhered to at all times. Bring your own food and drink as we don't have these available on normal shooting days. If you have any other questions or queries please don't hesitate to contact us through this page and we will get back to you ASAP. for your convenience I have also included the current timetable for the next 5 weeks. A new timetable for the 20/21 financial year will be published shortly. Happy Shooting.

05.01.2022 Few big weekends at M&DSC. Some of our members stretched the legs on the rifles and had a go at the 500m shoot on Saturday and working bee on Sunday. Photos thanks to Garry.

05.01.2022 Just a reminder to all that the annual general meeting is on this Sunday starting at lunch time. Shooting is as per normal. Standard match in the morning, shotgun on the service range and Mini metallic after lunch. Lunch is catered for as per usual just byo drinks and a plate of something sweet to share if you can.
