23.01.2022 Book Week has been a busy week with lots of fun activities. The book fair was a great success and thank you to the families who donated books to our library.

22.01.2022 Well done to the four teams that represented MNPS at SAPSASA Basketball. Congratulations to you all on your fantastic efforts and sportsmanship on the day. We were fortunate to have two teams make it through to the next step, which will be Regional Day in Mt Gambier. Huge thankyou to the wonderful coaches who supported our teams!!!

20.01.2022 People’s Choice Community Lottery raises money for our school with 100% of profits coming directly to us! If you can help us out you will also have the chance to win some fabulous prizes!!

20.01.2022 Thank you to Mr Squire for organising a visit from the fire fighters with their trucks and equipment for 'Fire Friday'. The students really enjoyed the hands on experience and raised money to go to our local CFS. Mr Squire also gave a very informative presentation to Miss Laucirica's class about the role of the CFS, and her students were able to try on the uniforms!

20.01.2022 Yesterday was National Simultaneous Story Time. This year the featured book was "Whitney and Britney, Chicken Divas" by Lucinda Gifford. Our students enjoyed listening to the story and working on some activities about the characters.



19.01.2022 It has been a great start to the year with lots of exciting things happening around the school. We recently held our Acquaintance Night and it was fantastic to see so many families join us to visit classrooms, browse at our book fair and enjoy the sausage sizzle.

18.01.2022 Our Girls Shed group have been very busy this term working on some great projects. The girls have really enjoyed it and gained many new skills from their mentor, Leon and SSO helper, Sarah. We would like to thank Bosch, Infigen Energy and South East Property Group for their generous support of this program.

16.01.2022 MNPS Student Award winners were announced at the school concert. Congratulations to all of these very worthy winners!

11.01.2022 Our music program has expanded to include guitar and drums. Huge thank you to Gary Siddall for the donation of an amp to our budding bass guitarists! We might keep the volume on the lower settings for a start!!



11.01.2022 MNPS has a fantastic music program which is expanding again with a third music teacher starting soon. Due to the popularity of this program we need more instruments to enable our very enthusiastic students to join in. We particularly need a drum kit, bass guitar (half scale) and bass amp, as well as clarinets, trumpets, saxophones and guitars. If you have any of these instruments available to donate or sell for a small fee, please contact our Front Office on 87332555

08.01.2022 Last week we held a Virtual Cross Country competition. Due to the current restrictions the annual Naracoorte event was cancelled, but schools could map out their own course and still compete. Congratulations to all who took part and well done to our winners on the day!

05.01.2022 This term has been another very productive one in the The Girl's Shed! Under the guidance of the wonderful Leon Miels, the girls woodwork projects have included some beautifully made candle holders and bread boards.

04.01.2022 Mrs Merrett's class enjoyed the beautiful afternoon out in the vegetable garden, weeding, watering and potting up seedlings for the new greenhouse.

02.01.2022 Our concert was a great way to end what has been a fantastic year at MNPS. The students and staff had put in a lot of hard work which showed in their spectacular performances! We wish all of our families a happy and safe holiday. See you in 2020!
