21.01.2022 Covid-19 Update: Further to Basketball Victoria’s recommendation to cancel games and training, we wish to advise that the Mill Park Basketball Stadium will be unavailable for training sessions and competitions until further notice. This is to commence as of Today March 16 - 2020 In this period of uncertainty, we are best to follow the legal advice of the governing body for our sport, particularly when our member clubs operate under BV insurance for games and training sessions.... As this is a rapidly evolving situation, we would like to thank everyone for their understanding and patience as we work through this difficult period. We will continue to provide updates via our Facebook page and email as well as the social media pages of the Whittlesea city basketball association in the coming weeks. 15.01.2022 No casual shooting available at the moment due to the ongoing upgrades being completed on the courts. Just a quick progress update: - Courts 1/2 are looking great with the new benching installed. ... - Courts 3/4 currently undertaking works to upgrade the seating. Hoping to see our great basketball community back playing on all the courts as soon as possible. A huge shoutout and Thank-You to the Whittlesea Council as without them this would not be possible. 10.01.2022 Basketball Victoria has made the decision to suspend Basketball Victoria related programs, events and leagues from now March 13, until further notice. This includes ALL VJBL games, Big V games, Junior and Senior Domestic Games. As this is a rapidly evolving situation, we would like to thank everyone for their understanding and patience as we work through this difficult period. This is a decision we don’t take lightly and want to reassure the basketball community that we will... continue to work with the Victorian Government and other health authorities to ensure the health and wellbeing of our players, coaches, referees and staff are maintained.
