23.01.2022 Taking apart a garment can be educational but it's almost always tedious. The only pieces I really like to unpick are kimono and haori. Hand-stitched, their seams are not really weak but, with encouragement, almost peel apart, and often there are lovely revelations along the way - tiny red stitches, a slip of patterned reinforcement ... . . . #madebyhand
